I think they tried first to be separated for a while but then came to the conclusion, that it doesnt match atm anymore. She doesnt want any obligations, expectations or feel any pressure in anyway and also doesnt want to say "no" all the time. So its just better to "feel free" again and do what you really want without feeling bad or dragging another person down.
