the mind's job is to think. that doesn't mean that the thoughts are worth our energy. breathe and get into the body. (change the breath, change your feelings.) the body doesn't lie. it is where we feel emotions and can pinpoint their purpose. all emotions have a function and if we listen and acknowledge them, they will tell us what we need to know. moving is a great idea. have fun.
as someone who moved to london for my masters alone, I really see london as a place for your Margot!!!! there is just something about that city and I think about it every day 💌

It happens also to me to feel anxious when I’m alone, without knowing the exact reason. But even though I really appreciate my alone time, complete silence it’s kinda scary since my thoughts feel louder which gets me more anxious. It’s nice that you talk about these topics. Love you lots❤
I solo travelled to Barcelona for 4/5 days when I was 20 years old, I was scared but I actually saw everything I wanted to see and I enjoyed my time. Now I'm 24 and in a relationship so I don't think it will happen again. I'm really glad that I had the courage to do it that back then. If you have the opportunity, do it right now, I promise that you will be thankful to your past self!

I really love this, before I moved to Cape Town I went there for 10 days to figure it out. It helps so much
I live in the Scottish Highlands and I’m going on a trip to London this weekend by myself and I’m so nervous - I’ve travelled quite a bit but have only flown alone once before. I am staying with friends but on Friday I’ll fly there solo and spend the day alone. I would say I’m not a very independent person but I have been trying to push myself since the pandemic to do more things by myself, but I find it really hard. Your video gave me a bit of encouragement to just enjoy being by myself on Friday. ❤️
Good for you! It’s a cool place to go solo I hope you have a safe and wonderful trip! Since your a bit shy maybe check out a museum or chill out in Hyde park for a bit, you’ll get to experience London but it won’t be too overwhelming 😊
With anxiety and breathing like that you should look up breathe exercises - they’re centering and grounding
Girl, I also struggle with planning and “doing the right thing.” For me, that stems from trauma from my parents. Something helpful that my therapist has said is that there is no “right” way, and she recommended that whenever I get in my head about how to go about my day “efficiently” and “correctly” is to take a moment and check in with myself and my body, and listen to my gut. Basically, come back to the present moment, let go of the judgement, and ask yourself - “what would make me feel good in this moment?” and do the thing! This has helped me tremendously :)

I think it's normal to experience some social anxiety or agoraphobia abroad on your own, if you're already prone to that! Also coffee can trigger chest pain and anxiety, I guess that you know !

I traveled solo to Israel when I turned 20 and it changed my life for the better. I faced all of my fears in those 10 days and came out of it a new person. Highly recommend to EVERYONE! No matter your age. I'm 24 and have a partner now so I'm never really alone anymore -- I'm so glad I took the opportunity at the time I did.

I’ve solo’d to London and I loved it, I really commend you for taking the bus your first time solo. I took Ubers while I was there, I was scared of getting lost lol but you dived in like a champ! You did a great job of exploring & experiencing London🤍
