    If you modify colour settings and then try run a game, it will glitch out when you open it. You'll aways need to restart after changing the settings. That's what I have noticed anyway

    It is that good, buttons are more comfortable (specifically dpad) than the rg35xx. I find myself playing on this one more than the rg35xx. Albeit the rg35xx screen gets brighter than the miyoo mini +

      technical facts:
      with $80 for MM+ people will get oob better dpad, bigger battery, better L/R buttons and functional wifi.
      with $20 less for RG35XX, people will get better speaker, better screen (both in brightness and build quality), docked mode to bigger screen option,
      plus, the untapped potential with unlockable gpu
      (with proper software like Batocera, it is possible to play even PSP/Dreamcast games),
      while functional wifi can be enabled through proper software + external wifi adapter and rattling/diagonal dpad problem can be relatively easy (and cheaply) solved with electrical tape and a little bit of effort.

    Can the Miyoo Mini+ run SEGA SATURN games?

    • @NickDyers
      @NickDyers Год назад

      saturn is one tricky system to emulate, even for adequate PC hardware.
      PSP/DC are much more easier to clone in ARM based computers (remember SNES vs PS1 emulation case ?)
      with current state of MM+ hardware, its impossible.
      ofc if retroarch humble enough to include mednafen, it should check one tick at least from sofware department.
      but the haughty RA devs wont do that ever :)

    • @SuperKokuJin916
      @SuperKokuJin916 Год назад

      That excuse of the Saturn being hard to emulate just doesn't fly as far anymore. Most games play at full or near-full speed with minimal issues on halfway decent contemporary PC or Android hardware.
      But in this case I do agree that the MM+ needs a bit more horsepower from a newer chipset to pull it off.

      > That excuse of the Saturn being hard to emulate just doesn't fly as far anymore.
      CONTEXT.
      chaynese HANDHELD knockoff EMULATOR, and there are TWO problems there.
      NOT ONLY about the hardware POWER.
      Saturn core chip is WAY harder to dechipered properly COMPARED to higher, newer console such PSP or DC. The fact as in 2023 mednafen is the only most ACCURATE one to EFFICIENTLY emulate such beast IS another solid prove. And we're not even talking about the botchered yabasanshiro INEFFICIENCY performance in Retroid Pocket :)
      so its not an EXCUSE, its an undeniably FACT. You will get BETTER EMULATION PERFORMANCE for DC/PSP in the very same emulation hardware compared to saturn one.
      Its the same CONTEXT problem as the SNES mod7 hardware intricacy TO EMULATE,
      COMPARED to the higher, but MUCH MUCH SIMPLER hardware like PS1.

      Seriously, the Vita wasn't even available in my area when it was new, so it's irrelevant. The 3DS might be good, but I'm not interested in dual-screen touchscreens. I've played GBC games on my Nokia 5310 back then (my last phone which still had buttons) and I miss that experience. I'm not interested in getting multiple systems of this kind though, I've ordered a Plus only because reviews show it has a better dpad and that's it (and a friend shown me a nonplus Miyoo and I really liked the whole idea, although I did acknowledge that it was way too small).
      What does the 3ds adds against this one? Higher cost, reliance on the second-hand market and these useless dualscreen gimmicks I'm aware about as cons only.
