I don't know why anyone would give this a thumbs down! It's is a beautiful ring, and thank you so much for sharing! It is a great and understandable tutorial.
Excellent videos!!! I would love to see more tutorials of some of your bracelet designs. Your videos look easy to follow, but I'd like to see from beginning to end results.
Hello I really enjoyed your video regarding the macrame ring. The only thing is that I would like to suggest using lighter cords as black doesn't show up well. Thanks JoAnn
Thanks for sharing that awesome video, the Black thread did make it a little hard to view, but I really appreciated the angle of the camera so I could see what your hands were doing. I look forward to seeing what you'll come up with next! :-D
I love your baltic amber ring. I have a bracelet and I've been trying to find a ring to match it. Where did you find it. BTW, your tutorial is awesome too. I never thought of trying to macrame a ring. This one is lovely.
Great tutorials - I have watched all your videos. I have a couple of questions. What are the cord measurements for the stone & ring. Secondly, how many sections is needed for both. Looking forward to seeing more excellent videos, many thanks.
I'm new at macrame and this is probably well above me, however, it would help so much if the lengths of the cord were on the video and whilst the knots pretty much all looked the same and simple (what I could actually see of them) I've no idea how many times you knot around the stone or which threads to pickup. I suppose it's my own fault as I can't see so well, but I so very much want to make this ring for myself and more information for poor beginners such as myself would benefit. It seems everyone else I've read here finds it very easy and I'm sure it would be if I had half an idea about cord lengths, how many shorter cords you use, and a bit clearer picture of what you do close to the stone. I've watched it about three times and love this ring!! Any help would be appreciated.
ooh, no, I didn't..I'll rummage around see how to do that! This ring is so absolutely amazing, I just have to try to make one, although the Malachite stone I have is square and smaller, I suppose I can figure out how to do this on a lesser scale. Macrame is so addicting I want to do it all the time, lol!! You really make it look so easy..I usually curse my way through a shamballa-style bracelet, simple as they are, haha...no telling what will let fly from my mouth trying to make this :P shameful! thanks so much for answering! many blessings xx
Wonderful tutorial! I noticed you use waxed cord but you still burn the ends as if it's nylon which melts. Does this hold up well over time? I tend to super glue the ends of my cords because I find that cotton waxed cord tends to fray. Perhaps my cord is different than yours? Suggestions appreciated :)
Is there a way to wrap a loose stone without a thread hole to make this ring? I love it, but don't want to risk drilling into my stone. Thank you for this video!
Hello. Thank you, I am glad you like it. Did you turn on the annotations, while watching this video? I think, there are all the answers to your questions. ;) All the cords are 30cm long and I used 14 of them on each side of the stone, but it really depends on how big your stone is. Have fun macrameing.
Linda Battles Hi, thank you =) Well I do say it in the annotations ;) They are about 30cm long and how many of them you need it depends on how big your gemstone is.

Muito obrigada por esse esquema, muito lindo anel. Amei muito.
Yes, they are about 50cm long in this tutorial, but as I finished the ring I realized, the cords were way to long. So 30cm is just fine.
