the guy who you said you love his high notes is woozi! He’s the leader of their vocal unit and the mastermind behind all these songs, he’s written, produced and composed almost all of their discography from the very beginning of their idol career (I can count on my fingers how many tracks he HASN’T had a part in making)🥹 our ace forever

I watched this SVT video without knowing them and I was like 'I like that song' then the next song comes and I'm like 'I like that too!' and well yeah, there is literally no bad song from them. Whatever flavor you like, they got them all.

Seventeen are literally performance KINGS! they have some of the most difficult choreography in kpop and they keep challenging themselves and come out with cooler and cooler performances. They're regarded as the most synchronized kpop group, with not a single member that lacks in the dance aspect.

Thank you for this reaction. They are thirteen members. They all get parts on a song and they do very well with harmonizing. But the group is also divided into three units. HipHop, Vocal and Performance where each unit sometimes does its own songs. But the rappers can sing, the performance unit can sing and rap, the vocal unit can rap; and they all can dance. Very, very well too. Their choreography is amazing. And best of all, they write, produce and choreograph their own music. They're always such a joy to listen to and to watch.

They’re all amazing vocalists and rappers and on top of that, known as the kpop performance powerhouses and kings of synchronicity, they are AMAZING dancers… and like you said they remind you of a baseball team bc of their camaraderie YOU ARE SO RIGHT! You might think there’d maybe have some sort of dislike or less chemistry between some members since there’s just so many of them but you could totally mix and match any of the members and the bond would still be as strong as ever! They’re a big old family full of talented individuals and also clowns (they’re the funniest idols out there) and we carats have always failed to love them more than they love each other🥺and I guess that’s why they’re so great at what they do! I’ll always be proud of them

just so you know, most seventeen members can do nearly everything. they have their own personalities and are one of the funniest groups you can find, and they are also very diverse (as you can tell from the different genres in this one video,) you MUST check out their dances. one of the most detailed and well choreographed dances in the industry. you’ll be even more surprised when you know that woozi, the one with blonde hair and bleached eyebrows, writes and produces most of their songs and also choreographs. most of the members participate in creating their own songs and choreographies, which may be one of the reasons why they seem so passionate and are so good at what they do. they also have flawless relationships with each other, to the point where each of their families consider the other members as family. some members siblings like other members more than their own sibling, and each member often hangs out with another members parents one on one (an instance of this being when the8, the red hair, got invited by mingyus, the tallest one with the black jacket and white shirt, dad to go fishing) and getting invited to eat dinner or food in general. their relationships with each other are so intertwined and they all are insanely talented. a group of perfect idols is what i personally call them.

The guy you kept pointing out as my boy.. His name is Woozi and he is the main Producer of the group. All these songs that you heard are produced/co-produced by him. They are a very multi-talented grp imo. They participate in producing, writing, and choreographing their music. If you think their vocals are great U should watch their Choreographies. They are known for being the Best Performers in Kpop.

You'll be surprised to know, that they are one of the most balanced group in song distribution (majority of their Title track and B-sides). Just watch song distributions of their song and for a 13-member group you'll be surprised at the pie charts that come out. And this comparing to like group with less members that have these massive issue

Nice to see you react to Seventeen. It's a shame you didn't have subs on just to hear a little blurb about the song with the english title but it is what it is. The lil guy with short blonde hair and the higher register is Woozi who is the leader of the vocal team and is the creative source behind 90% of their discography (there is tons of content of him in the studio and advising and producing the members during recording if your producer side gets curious) if not more he has a rock single called Ruby if you ever get curious since you said you have a rock background I think you would be interested to see him play guitar (he also can play drums, piano and clarinet which is mindblowing to me). I think a lot of their song leans very jazzy/funky or sentimental particularly in the early years but they have a little bit of everything. Their Choreography practices are crazy to see and they are also suuuuuper funny and make great variety content so honestly there is really nothing not to like HAHA.

Seventeen has three units: performing, hip hop, and vocal. The vocal team's Don't Listen in Secret is great. The performance team's Lilili Yabbay is one of the best choreos I've ever seen of any group. It was flawless. And the hip hop's Trauma is a great song as well. The leaders of the team also have some songs out - CHeers is great. BSS (BooSeokkSoon) is a subunit, they are more catchy fun songs (Just do it and Fighting are their two most famous ones) and many members have solo songs out as well. If you want to look at the choreo, they are one of the few kpop groups who always posts choreography dance practice videos.

Seventeen has so many good songs out and AMAZING choreo. Their award show performances are so detailed and so thought out. They take part in everything from song writing, choreography, and producing. Their variety show Going Seventeen is also fantastically funny. They have such great chemistry on and off the stage and it shows.

Instead of rambling about Seventeen, I'll just say that I second everything that the other commenters are saying hahaha. They are an extremely, all-around, talented group with genuine care for each other and their fans. If you enjoyed their rock-style songs, there is a music video for the song CLAP that they did in this video and also their song CALL CALL CALL. Other good introductory music videos for them are HOT, Super, Left & Right, and Don't Wanna Cry, but they have many many videos you can dive into! Any of their title tracks/singles are amazing places to start, and there are plenty of guides you could watch to get an idea of the group and its members -- however the good guides do to tend to be longer because of how many members there are hahahaha. They are one of the top groups in the industry, evenmoreso when it comes to dancing. There are plenty of groups that are full of good dancers...but there are no other groups with 13 people who can easily match each other and dance and perform well together at the level that Seventeen does. i'm glad you enjoyed seventeen, really hoping you do a deep dive with their discography! (just a heads up, their first 3 or 4 releases tend to get blocked, so you may have to put a watermark or something over the videos, but after that you should be good). it's really fun to watch seventeen's releases chronologically though. since they write their own music a lot of it is either autobiographical or written for people their age at the time, and you can really see how they grow both as musicians and as people. it's really something special
