    I live on the outskirts of the peak district and you are correct with the potholes and bumpiness of the roads. You can have fun but always got to be on your guard of the surface quality

      Still I appreciate the fact that we have such an area nearby, as I had a lot of amazing drives over there.

    I used to work at the carding shed when it was a working textile mill ... 3 big carding machines in that room .. cant say i enjoyed it much .. i recognise some of the roads you drive and im going to start doing some similar drives when the weather gets better 👍🏼

      Great roads but definitely go very early before other people do and spoil your fun.

    Having been born and lived up there for half my life, I used to take those roads for granted. Now that I live down south your videos make me miss those roads so much - especially around Holme Moss and the reservoirs.
    However every time I manage to get my GT4 back up there it’s a glorious experience.

      It’s great to hear my videos are bringing some good memories. At least you have a great car to drive these roads now.

    That's a great circuit. Woodhead reservoir to Chapel Milton via Glossop is one of my favourite runs. I shall have to look up Mortimer Road.

    Great roads! Here's a good circuit for you: start at Macclesfield and take the stunning Cat & Fiddle road to Buxton. Then head north onto the A6, east onto the A623 towards Tideswell. Then head north on a B road towards Bamford, and north again towards the Ladybower Reservoir. Then the mighty Snake Pass west towards Glossop, south on the A624 Chunal Head road to Chapel-en-le-Frith, and finally back on the B road "Highwayman" Road towards Macclesfield.

    Brilliant- off to follow your Swiss alps route in 2 weeks (best guess route). I live in Loughborough so not far from the peaks - you mentioned you would share route in the video…but can’t see it. Pretty pls share 😊

      Hi. Well, I’m really jealous as I would love to do the Alps again. There is a video on my channel I released last year which shows the whole route I did during that trip. In regard to the Peaks, I think you didn’t stick to the end as there are two screen grabs from google maps there. Anyway, have a fantastic time! Regards 👋

    Wow scary to realise it was 4 years ago since I joined you on the run out to the Carding shed, I've been a few times since on my pushbike and motorbike, the Micra is still going strong. Do widzenia.

    Very great job man! Your driving videos really need a view of the pedals. It would be so awesome to fix a camera on the pedalbox to film your footwork please and to include this view in your edit with the three other onboard angles.

    • @MDrives
      @MDrives  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks. I think my foot works wouldn’t be that impressive as my car has auto rev matching so I don’t do it myself.

      @@MDrives Thank you for your answer! Okay! I think it's always interesting to fix a camera there, it's rich in information, even if you don't heel-toe. It might be a good idea to try it at least once. ;)

    Another great video - I need to get down to the Peaks to explore. Don’t think you can criticise those bikers too much when your mate is constantly using the whole road 😅

    • @MDrives
      @MDrives  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you! Definitely worth going over there. I have nothing against using full road if you can see that you can do it safely. I think I just got a bit more sensitive on the topic after a few head on near misses with bikers at Alps. Otherwise I have nothing against them as they just trying to have fun like we do.

    Marek odczep się od bajkersow, dobrze jechali :P Sam śmigam po wyspie Aprilią Tuono v4, mam tez 440i F32 (chcialem m2, ale wybralem cichsze i wygodniejsze auto) i... jak lubisz jeździć, musisz spróbować motocykle. Daje to tyle wolności i radosci, ze M2 bys uzywal tylko przy brzydkiej pogodzie ;) A jak sloneczko to moto :) Inna sprawa to koszt jaki placisz za osiagi, kilka czy kilkanascie ktornie mniej niz to co w motoryzacji 4 kolowej. Pozdrawiam z poludnia londka :)

      Hej. Jakiś wyczulony się zrobiłem po paru prawie czołówkach z motorami w Alpach. 440 napewno jest dużo lepszym rozwiązaniem na codzień. Zrobiłem sobie już CBT. Mam nadzieję zrobić pełne prawko na motor w tym roku. Nie jestem super fanem szybkich motorów. Czuję się zbyt odsłonięty. Może kupię sobie jakiegoś tourera. Pozdrawiam 👋

      @@MDriveshej, w Alpach byłem parę razy i to pikus jest w porównaniu do tego co się dzieje w Hiszpanii, czy Polsce gdzie kierowcy się z tobą ścigają o_0. Masakra, tam to się dopiero balem. W alpach bym powiedział jest kultura, ale zdarzają się czasem szybcy lokalni, czy zbyt poekscytowani przyjezdni, to prawda. Fajnie ze chcesz wskoczyć na moto! Poznasz druga stronę i raz dwa się przyzwyczaisz do mocy :) Moja rada na początek, nie kupuj moto 'do nauki z małym silnikiem' - bo stracisz kasę. Po pół roku będziesz sprzedawał. Kup takie moto jakie chcesz i się na nim ucz :) Pozdrawiam
