    This woman cracked me up! Loved her easy going baking style. No measuring by weight. Just plopping in the ingredients. So funny. I'll give this recipe a try just to see how well it comes out. But I'll be weighing my ingredients instead of using her more relaxed style, Lol!

      LOL...I have the high school kids working at my restaurant "plopping ingredients into a bowl", mixing , smelling, tasting, etc..until they get what they are making "just to their taste"...they make a great pulled pork and chili!!! always delicious!! team work.....they do have an ingredient guide though ....LOL........

    Tried this! It’s lot easier than the recipe I was using and I made two loaves like you did for the neighbors. I used to use my mixer, but a lot easier and less to clean using just two bowls. Turned out great!

    350' is F... I had to watch other videos to figure this out :D I love this recipe so I had to work this out by getting this important detail from other cooks which gave both measurements in C. and F.

    • @crazyjeancooking
      @crazyjeancooking  Год назад

      I don't think you can make it to last. You can extend it by using a vacuum seal machine like 'cryovac'......otherwise....as God provided manna in the wilderness, God WILL provide for His people during a time of crisis....

    I’m going crazy looking for your banana bread recipe. I could swear it was yours. I’ve made it many times but not for awhile. Did you take it down, or am I crazy and it was actually someone else’s recipe? 🤷‍♀️ So confused!

    • @crazyjeancooking
      @crazyjeancooking  3 года назад +2

      I have not taken any recipes down....the only banana cake recipe I have on there is :
      Banana Cream Bundt Cake 350 degrees 55-60 min. keep checking with toothpick
      ½ cup Butter flavored Crisco
      2 cups sugar
      4 eggs
      1 ½ tsp vanilla
      1 ½ cup sour cream
      2 ½ tsp baking powder
      1 ½ tsp baking soda
      ¾ tsp salt
      5 over-ripe bananas mashed
      Beat the above ingredients for 2 minutes on high speed
      Add 3 cups all-purpose flour
      Beat on high speed for a minute
      Pour into 10 inch sprayed bundt pan ….top with cream cheese frosting ( 1 soft stick butter, 8 oz soft cream cheese, 1 bag confection sugar, half and half to make spreadable…all beaten until smooth)

    • @crazyjeancooking
      @crazyjeancooking  2 года назад +1

      My mother put the water in aa aluminum pan on the stove and boiled it .....and she had to put shortening and flour on the old aluminum pan so the cake would not stick.....fortunately we have Modern techniques to update old recipes.

    You don't know microwaving alters the molecular structure of things?? Also: 30 secs plastic bag use, 500 years in the ocean.

    • @DG-mv6zw
      @DG-mv6zw 5 лет назад +3

      Nonsense! Microwaves do not alter the molecular structure of things any more than a conventional oven alters things 😆 Any "alterations" are merely the result of the normal heat process - which is true of any heat source. If you have evidence to the contrary, then please make sure to cite a professional, scientific, peer reviewed, published source. Check out "Scientific American", for example. Incidentally, there's more plastic in your computer and/or cellphone than there is in a small, reusable plastic bag! Your home is absolutely full of plastics. Take a look around you!
