SAME. This was driving me crazy, so I'm glad I'm not the only one. Like it's a cool level and all, but they picked such a weird, obscure ass course to remaster 😭
Amo el Booster Course Pass porque puedes tocar las peores pistas o las más aburridas pero si le pones el suficiente cambio y esfuerzo se vuelven experiencias de lo más disfrutables ya sea por físicas, mecanicas, o el mismo diseño de la pista
That last U-turn in mk8 version (i didnt played ds) was the first time i started to slow down while drifting. That turn is literally worse that Mario Circuit 3
If we were talking about DS Shroom Ridge I would agree, but as the waves go on the tracks look better and better. No longer plasticine grass, it looks considerably better in every way.
@@frankieseaman6614 in this specific track the graphics are bad. only good thing is the light in the new forest section, take that and the graphics are plastic
@@verguco6051 Totally disagree. Sure its a very cartoony style, but if I'm honest, that fits mario kart a bit more than some of the og tracks, so I am totally fine with that style. And looking closer, the textures are all good, the models are all good. If you can get over the style its a nice looking track.
@@frankieseaman6614 you can have a cartoony style and still have a lot of details in things, cartoony doesnt mean bad graphics. compare any track from vanilla mario kart 8 with this, the difference is a joke, two complete different games. ironically from all mario games mario kart are always the more "realistic" mario games, the tracks looks like real world places, look at mario kart 64, with exception of reinbow road almost all tracks could be real places
@VERGUCO most of the tracks in the vanilla game are not in a cartoony style. Most are semi realistic. These are cartoony style, bolder colours, more rounded shapes. It's a different style, and while I kinda wish they kept the og style just for consistencies sake, there is nothing inherently wrong with these at this wave except for one or two boring looking backgrounds. Everything is properly textured, the models look good, it's just down to whether you like the style or not, and I don't mind it.
The remake is far from being good... The forest section feels very weird and makes the circuit empty in this section. The OG was better. Including this in Tour was the WORST IDEA ever. These curves are impossible to take perfectly without braking in 200c 😑 I raged when I spent EVERY ticket to only end with 71000 and 12th ranked place... CPU seems to cheat their handming stats because they manage to do so 🤬 Tour ruined the fond memories I had about this circuit... I hate it now.
dont play in 200cc, 150cc warrants the same bonus points as 200cc and makes the more curved tracks easier to maintain the combo. If cpus annoy you, play the same track for a while (start to finish, exit, play it again and repeat) until the badges disappears from the bots, this will make them less annoying.
I’m genuinely scared for my memory because I ADORED MKDS and can’t for the life of me remember this course…
Just like me, I played MKDS to death and can't remember this track either.
maybe cause it's a bit different from the original
I can definitely remember it, but when I saw the Wiggler in MK8 I wasn't sure if he was in Mario Kart DS too

It was unlockable for some reason. I remember only first discovering it replaying MKDS as a teen/adult years later
I played mk ds almost every minute as a kid but somehow i have no memory of this track 💀
I swear I remembered it so different, it was pretty much just a large circle
It wasn't a very memorable track, but I think it's nice that it's been brought back after a very long time
@@sirmrman1 you might be thinking Figure 8 circuit, which had the same music
It's interesting how Peach Gardens has the same aesthetic but different layout while Mario Circuit has the same layout but some elements were changed
this course is 18 years old holy crap
I used to play this Mario Circuit when I was a kid and I'm so glad it's back
Same
Mario circuit is just a lot of fun!

@WackyChu Layout wise, yes, but it’s better because it’s 8DX but Graphics wise, hell no…

I love the forest they added. Looks so good!
Damn that music, reminds me of figure 8 circuit.
Weird how that didn't make it into the game all about 8
Same music lol
Cause MK8 Mario Circuit is a figure-8, no point in having two similar circuits in the game.
The Best soundtrack of MKDS nostalgic
DS Mario Circuit for Mar10 Day!
My favorite track
Bro, this isnt a bad map
But they could have like, used either delfino square or airshio fortress😮💨
This track got a well deserved glow up
I love this circuit

I don’t remember this course and i played a lot of mario kart DS
I remember the music thats it
What was the figure 8 track on DS? I thought that was Mario Circuit
Literally called "Figure-8 Circuit".
There was figure-8 circuit which uses the same theme. Mario circuit and Luigi circuit from double dash on the DS
@@timzy4395 srry, but theres no ds luigi circuit wit dat theme. the mkdd an mksc luigi circuit has different themes as we speak.
@@kevinwashington2733 i was talking about the tracks in the game. Luigi circuit from dd was on DS too bro
@@timzy4395 well bro, excuse me for missing da point of view wit da year of luigi circuit remix.
Probably my favorite mario circuit. Both are great but dx is better in about every way.

mario kart ds was the best mario kart ever
Ficou muito bom o remake dessa pista, mas eu prefiro a do DS mesmo 😅
I forgot this existed

Besides, the Forest section actually adds substance to that part of the track and make it feel more alive, something it did not have before…
