The part that is confusing is that Giyu had actually only been a slayer for 7 years. He lost sabito at 13 not his sister. So he was like younger when tsutako died. Because if she died when he was 13 then plus the time he trained like 2 or 3 years and then, lost sabito and then been a slayer for over 7 years then he would have been 23/24 and 24/25 and already dead at chapter 204 or didn't have enough time to have kids and then no descendant giichi tomioka 🤷♂️
here's the cannon time line of events - Tsutako dies when Giyuu was ~8 yrs old - he runs away and meets Urokudaki and Sabito not long after this - Sabito dies during final selection when Giyuu was 13 - he became a demo slayer when he was 13 - he first meets Tanjiro when he was 19 - and the Series ends when he is 21
