It's stated as a fact from the original creator of the animation, that hankson is most likely a hank's descedent. They aren't the same person.

The one in the tube is the original sheriff the one we battle is hank mixed with the sheriff that’s why at the end of redeemer revenger he beats the absolute crap out of hankson
@@xenomirage2174 So tell me if I understood correctly The real sheriff or the original was in the tube and that the one Hankson had faced is actually a clone.
Everything explains why he defeated Hankson so easily while the real Sheriff that we know was rather a coward because in the original series we have not seen the Sheriff react or confront Hank Wimbleton since episode 2 and 3 well except of course that it was him that he had activated the Improbability Drive in ep3 but it was Jebus who had done everything because he put Hank Wimbleton down twice.
