My Ex submitted her divorce from her home country but failed to submit the divorce papers from the California courts to immigration. Which she violated her divorce decree. The divorce here invalidated our marriage including the marriage license penal code was violated. We married in 2010 and the family court retroactively annulled the marriage. Somehow she was still able to get citizenship. 25 immigration lawyers said no valid marriage no valid divorce and no valid marriage license makes it impossible and illegal. How could USCIS ignore their own laws. One more thing she signed the mortgage papers in 2017 stating she was a citizen when she only possessed a 10 yr green card obtained in 2015.
