I am using Tubebuddy , vidiq and morningfame....the last one goes into details of comparison between channels and how competitive is the keyword. They also analyze the thumbnsil. It goes beyond the data and into the thumbnail that is really important for videos. But ahrefs provide best data available ....I will check this new feature to see how it works. A good video would be compare all those 3 and see advantages of ahrefs. I hope you can consider it. Thanks

In the past I was doing some video marketing with YT and had some great results, by optimising the video according to competitions, and I could rank video on 1st page of YT in less then 24h. I don't know if this still works, haven't tried it for a while. But would be nice to see how you optimise your videos to get high rankings in YT and Google!?
Tony, Keyword Research tool does not provide you with the keyword difficulty for RUclips keywords. You can check search volume and a click rate to get a better idea of your benefits from targeting a certain keyword.
Definitely try morning fame...for RUclips search, volume and how your channel can rank...definitely way better than using youtube ads or even Ahrefs. I've been using it since I started my channel and exponential growth month over month.

Perhaps in the future, but personally, I don't find keyword difficulty scores in the other tools to help that much. Perhaps I'm not using it properly, but they seem a bit arbitrary. For example, we ranked for "SEO" in a few weeks with a much smaller channel at the time.

Search for a topic that you want to create a video about on RUclips. Check what are top 1-3 results and if you can make it any better. The age of competitor's video might be not the best criteria for a future content. - Max
