Before getting in the tub, I do a full body rub of plain avocado oil as a first “cleanse,” then I wash with a pouf and regular body wash. Very cost-effective when we’re using so much full body sunscreen in the summer!
For an excellent body oil-cleanser, that can also be used on the face pretty effectively, I do recommend the Eucerin Ph5 Shower Oil. It is incredibly good. At first I wasn't convinced I was gonna like it that much but it grew on me. On the face it can be used as a sole cleanser that will remover heavy sunscreen, put to the test! It may not be luxurious at all but it accomplishes the task as it has to. Great video, Renee! 🥰
Hi Renee, I like to use Neutrogena’s Body Oil to breakdown body sunscreen, especially mineral sunscreen. I use it like a regular first cleanse: massage onto dry body, rinse, then normal body wash.
Thank you Rene! I tend to skip body sunscreen as I prefer to wear UPF Clothing, at least in the warmer months. In the cooler months I wear merino wool which is naturally UPF 30-50. I much prefer physical clothing and hats to most sunscreens. But I do sunscreen my face, neck/chest and ears every day. And I generally hide from the sun.
*Excellent video Renee! I was thinking about this last week after a day at the lake. I’d done my double cleanse to remove the caked lasers of water resistant sunscreen from my face but as I showered realized that bar soap wouldn’t do the same for my body. Great recommendations!*
May sound bad... but it always works! I use the original Blue Dawn dishsoap on a washcloth in a hot bath to remove sunscreen (on non-burnt skin). I apply about a half Tbsp to a wet soft washcloth and lather, gently rub, rinse. Original Blue Dawn is an oil based remover so it comes off fairly easily. In fact, it has never dried out my skin. I do apply a thin layer of Cetaphil lotion afterwards. Then rinse off with the showerhead after. Once you've applied your light layer of lotion dont forget to rinse out your tub. I take a Magic Eraser and Blue Dawn and use about a Tbsp. With the tub wet and rinsed out, I use the soapy magic eraser around the ring area of the tub. You should do this prior to your tub drying because otherwise the shower floor when wet again will create a slick (slippery when wet) due to the residue left from the sunscreen.
You did an amazing job Renee! This is one of of the most needed videos this summer because I always have issues removing sunscreen from my body and it’s such a hassle! ✨🥺
I use the l’Occitane almond shower oil, it’s great. I also love their almond milk concentrate body moisturizer and their almond hand cream too. Stand out products from that brand imo
Hello Renee, ALWAYS ALWAYS your videos are so informative and interesting! I always feel I learn something valuable and beneficial! I really enjoy! Thank you! 🤗🌞💗👍🏼
Love listening to you Renée, hope you are well in this crazy time. Would love for you to talk about the new technology out there on DNA repair enzymes, would love your opinion. HAve a great sunday XXX
Do you go in dry with these body cleansers or use them on wet skin? Thank you for this video! Been doing a double cleanse on my body with Hada Labo’s cleansing oil and my regular cerave hydrating body wash to remove water resistant sunscreen and a one-and-done would be so much more convenient
Thanks for this video. Very helpful. I've been using a cleansing face oil on my arms and neck as a 1st cleanse to remove sunscreen. Love these options.
hi Renee! do you wear sunscreen on your body indoors? i’m good at wearing it daily on my face, but on the body i just feel so uncomfortable and sticky when i sit down.
I do but I literally use face sunscreen so it’s comfortable…which can be pricey. I like la roche posay for that since a lot of their stuff just feels like lotion :)

Love this economical idea!
how to remove water resistant sunscreen is literally the video I was waiting for … you never disappoint, Renée
I use the bioderma atoderm body cleansing oil and it removes heavy duty water resistant sunscreen so easily.

Trader Joe’s has a decent dupe for the L’Occitane shower oil.

Oh the l’occitane! My skin feels so soft after using it, I always bring it on beach vacations

damn, that cetaphil gel cream looks absolutely amazing. ofc it's not available in my country.

I just use my regular face cleansing oil wherever I've been wearing sunscreen. I use the Purito cleansing oil, my absolute favorite.
My favourite too! I just don't have enough money to use it on my body. Do you think double cleansing with my regular body wash will be enough?
I just came from the pool so the timing is perfect
I find dove soap just works just fine removing water proof sunscreen for my face and body. ❤️
I use a body konjac sponge, I love them 'cause they're so soft
I use the eucerin oil shower gel work great 👍🏻 as well

Hi Renee great videos!
I love your shirt Renee. What is the brand?
They’re called a loofah!
Hi Renee... Could u advise which loose powder would be suitable for my dry n matured skin. Thanks
Always on time! Hey Renée 😊
For the body cleansing oil do you need to follow up with a gentle cleanser on the body Like for the face?
I’m confused. What’s the point of using sunscreen then?
Sunscreen is use body

Is allantoin different than lanolin(which I am allergic)
Completely different
Yes, lanolin is an oil/emollient. From sheep. Allantoin comes from a soothing plant.
What i needed🤌♥️
