I was the lead engineering for the UMass Lowell Rocketry Club, we had a 54mm diameter rocket ready to go to 15,000kft and mach 1.5 but we stood down due to clouds and high altitude winds. would have been great to go but I couldn't pass up recovering the money we spent on the hotel.
I got a boy going to UMASS lowell next year, he doing computer science tho. I'm going to UMASS boston, gotta start a rocket club of my own there cause they don't have one

It is the world's largest high power rocket launch annually. Not "the launch of the world's largest rocket."
It wasnt the best LDRS of all time. Through Saturday, it was alright, but the weather really messed it up. I had to essentially drift my Outback on the road coming in and out. The staff worked hard to unstuck people’s cars
