Yeah. That's the great thing about electric instruments. You can apply all the effect pedals you want. I used this washboard in this video with effects... ruclips.net/video/do0IUjuNC5g/видео.html
Great Idea/ project. I have a acoustic guitar pickup. Disc type that sticks in guitar body. Do you think it would work? Im really stoked with all your projects! Great inspiration! My next project it to build a reverb tank!! Thanks for showing all your projects!🖖Live Long And Prosper
Thanks for checking it out. Using a piezo pickup like that may work, but that's kinda the opposite of what I was going for. I used a magnetic pickup so it could amplify the vibrations in the steel without having to actually touch the metal (which would reduce the acoustic vibrations). It's worth trying though.
Cleans it up! Haha it IS a washboard! Ronn Benway would be proud! Really good job! I'm going to try making a video this weekend. Usually my son films me but he wants me to learn to do it myself. We'll see what happens!
It's a pail-sized Dubl Handi from Columbus Washboard Co. Mine was old and beat up but they still sell this model. All the specs are on their website. columbuswashboard.com/collections/washboards/products/dubl-handle-handmade-washboard
Thanks for checking out the vid. The pickup I used was $6, the pots were around $0.58 each, the capacitor was $0.24, and the jack was about $1. So the whole circuit is less than $10. It's a pretty cheap solution as is. How much was the mic you used?
Love this video! Love cbg's too!
Thanks for checking it out.
some effects pedals would be neat!

That's badass. Sell them on Etsy.
Thanks man. I could probably make a batch and sell 'em. That's a good idea.
