She does come with a lot and therefore I think she is worth the money. You should write a story for her, since you can write so well. Today I finished an outline for a short story where she will feature as the main character and it was a lot of fun.
Like you I was amazed by the retro version! Didn't even realize their was an original for quite some time. Both have their characteristics but I prefer the retro version much more

It certainly could. I have not noticed any staining yet but I could see over time her bloomers could stain her.
