Plus the games run really well on regular PS4 so I was happy with that. Only time when we should upgrade from PS5 is when the PS6 gets released.

However pc can get over by having that same amount of graphics level for the same price as the ps5 pro.

I just bought a gaming laptop with RTX3050 with a big discount and with a free 16gb ram upgrade for my college, had low expectations when fired GoW ragnarok, with digital foundry's settings, surprised when it ran smooth at 30-48 fps in 1080p never dipped below 30 or lagged anywhere, with a controller and a TV boom it's another console.
Glass buildings that's reflective, who cares? this isn't web of shadows where you gonna fight enemies on buildings and walls to appreciate that much details 😅
PS5 pro is the console no one has asked for, it's a niche product for a niche audience, it's going to tank big time. You can literally order it anywhere, that itself speaks volumes. Sony have nothing but utter disdain for their userbase, this console highlights it.
The main issue is it’s just a slight improvement compared to the ps5, there’s no way to rationalize paying 700$ for a slight upgrade if u already own a ps5, I really wish there was an option to trade in ur ps5 and depending on the condition of ur console what it’s worth goes to the purchase of the pro and all u gotta do is pay the rest.

It's looking like these Insomniac Games that actually run well on PC to begin with need a GPU at least as powerful as the AMD RX 7900 XT or RTX 4070 Ti or Super. The AMD card is $669 new or used right now. That does make it much easier to stay within $1,300 budget, but if you opt for the Nvidia card, it alone will cost $1,000 new. There's not enough extra wiggle room to build the rest of the PC for $300. For more demanding games you might still need a more powerful GPU than either of those which will of course cost more and inflate the budget further.

It's going to cost more than $1,300. It's looking like these Insomniac Games that actually run well on PC to begin with need a GPU at least as powerful as the AMD RX 7900 XT or RTX 4070 Ti or Super. The AMD card is $669 new or used right now. That does make it much easier to stay within $1,300 budget, but if you opt for the Nvidia card, it alone will cost $1,000 new. There's not enough extra wiggle room to build the rest of the PC for $300.
For more demanding games you might still need a more powerful GPU than either of those which will of course cost more and inflate the budget further.
