The merchandise at Active is excellent they have a huge variety and the prices are reasonable. I bought a big pedestal sink and it was less than what I would have paid at Homedepot. They have Ashley funiture and the stuff are modern and so beautiful in there!
Thank you so much for this video the tile section was really helpful, it gives me an idea on the items to ship when we move soon to Jamaica and what to buy once we arrive. Thanks again 😊😊
Active Home Centre is modern and I do like their stuff. We went to the one in Mobay last week but it's not as big as the Active in Kingston. There's no furniture in the Mobay branch so it was useful to know that the Kingston branch has this option. Our car insurance is due next week, been thinking about finding an insurance company, unfortunately I'd not got around to doing so but then the ad that popped up during your vlog was for MIBinsure. The quote I got was $80,000 cheaper than we paid last year which was a pleasant surprise so many thanks in more ways than one for your vlog ❤️
"Apples and oranges"... no comparison. America's minimum wage is at least 6 times ours! Do the maths.... A worker at Lowe's or Home Depot gets at least $18.00 ph compared to a Hotel worker or Security Guard here, who makes less than US$3.00 ph. Most [civil servants] Police, Teachers, Nurses etc., make less than the above mentioned US workers.
Blessings Deeza and Outlaw. Thank you for making this informative vlog. It would be better if stores include the GCT in their price. Have a great day🙏💯
Greetings Deeza & Outlaw..those furniture s are so expensive..People can only afford the very basics 😮..loving the tile selection though & the big fridge..Thanks for taking us eye shopping..Blessings guys 👍🏾👏🏾💕👌🏾
I would visit other furniture stores, there are more than one furniture store in Jamaica. I would buy them out there, because when you buy from UK, and to ship them over to JA, that’s another thing. What I would do is check the cost here to buy what I love, the cost for each pieces to ship and also to pay to clear them. Then I would check the same things here, and calculate the cost between the two and see on which side I can save some money.
Good to see you both, glad your doing a Active Home's, also go to Dunn's furniture shop also. Very up to date also.😊♥️🇬🇧🇯🇲please do a longer video when window shopping 👀👍
I was looking at the solar lights. Is this store in St. Ann? $790-$8,000 JMD [$5-$51 USD] isn't bad for solar lights. But I buy the smallest ones for $1.25 USD or less. The larger ones I can get almost FREE using apps and Amazon. I sent my brother some and a solar powered radio, phone charger and flashlight. Can you do a more indepth video on solar with prices⁉️👀🧐 Considering that y'all recently had a problem with JPS.
You could also get a furniture maker out there to make you some custom pieces- tables/chairs. At least you would be sure that it's real wood and not MDF!
If you are coming as a " returning resident" bring your furniture, please don't get rid of it. Prices here are extortionate and i know what I'm talking about.
The price of household items and hardware suggests that Jamaica has many millionaires with deep pockets! How can one purchase a $74,000 sink and a fridge for almost half a million dollars unless they are wealthy? That's sticker shock!🤑
Your one of the first person that's ive come across that properly showed the stuff and price i sub instantly 😂😊
Am going to get one of those faucets. Thank you for showing the price. You helped me alot with tge window shopping.

Good morning! Right up my alley. Its great to see all the options now available in Jamaica.
Thank you so much for this video the tile section was really helpful, it gives me an idea on the items to ship when we move soon to Jamaica and what to buy once we arrive. Thanks again 😊😊
Please note you need customs clearance to ship paint. So before buying and shipping check Jamaica Customs.
Thank for sharing, I love content like this. The price is one thing but the quality is another thing to think about.
The quality isn't good- mass produced furniture with inflated prices!

Thanks for the tour guys much appreciated.
Hey guys, how yuh doing , hope positive and well . love the info. stay strong and blessed.
Good job. The vanity prices are very comparable to what you can find at Lowe's or home depot.

You have to be careful with MDF, because it will warp in humidity. With a good carpenter, you can create similar looks in wood.
So true- that's what they're making furniture out of these days instead of solid wood!
I love outlaw's look on things, very realistic view.
The furniture here is so modern and I’d certainly go here if I had a property in JA
its just good to see whats available, cause i will surely need some in future. good work guys.
It would be nice to ship but when you pay to ship then pay to clear the furniture it work out the same or more thanks for the video
Thanks for showing this . I’m weighing up wether to ship my stuff or purchase In Jamaica I will certainly ship
Blessings Deeza and Outlaw.

It's cheaper to buy here from my experience.

This store is located in Kingston and is called Active. We’ll try our best to a video on Solar Prices
I think that I would prefer to ship my own furniture because everything looks so cheap and not good gaulity.

Plus the furniture I saw are poor quality

I was hoping you guys would be doing the daily October vlogs 😢
Aww wish we could. Just so busy with other projects at the moment.
Walk in tub
DID YOU REALLY PASSED THE WASHING MACHINE????!!!!
Ordinary poor working [most] Jamaicans, can't afford these [expensive] "nice things?!"
These furnitures are very expensive and look fragile, I have bought lovely furniture in Jamaica for my house lookinh 10 times better than these
