Maki get a light punishment by removing her chance of getting promoted and not seeing any punishment of her father after after being exposed for rigging their sales data in the competition. I wish they get transferred to rural branch. But since Keigo became her boss, he's eyeing on her since she can't cheat nor doing suspicious anymore. Pretty sure with her huge ego, she'll plan to take revenge on him with the help of her father. But, manga stories as usual, they'll get karma in the end and get fired with rumors spreading and become unemployed.
Ahh stop it. Not every story has to end with some severe punishment. If anything, an irony of those 2 in the end having some personal & intimate connections later on would make it just as interesting.

This would be far more interesting than the typical story featuring excessive retribution disguised as karma. She winds up being a wife and mother who is (mostly) good, but keeps Keigo on his toes.
