The code is not working properly. The text is getting converted to speech but I cannot pause and resume it. The text in the button changes but the sound does not pause or resume. "Speaking" is also not displayed while the text is getting converted to speech.
At first I thought that I did something wrong but even after I downloaded the source provided in your website, the result is same. After I type the text in the textarea, and click on the the convert button, the text in the button is changed to "Resume" directly and if I press the button after that, the text is changed to "Pause" and if pressed again, it is changed to "Resume" an this goes on. "Speaking" never shows up and the audio cannot be paused/resumed.
For your information, I am using Mozilla Firefox 114.0.2 and Linux Mint 21. Might be an issue in me or my computer. I have no idea. I have also watched your other videos and other codes have worked without any issues.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to use your own voice samples with the SpeechSynthesisUtterance API. Glad you liked my video.
