Ah, so the key was to move one of the DIMM sticks to the other colored bank. This worked for me! I forgot that the PC will still work if they sticks are in different DDR slots. Thanks!

How could i solve the same problem as above on lenovo v510z all-in-one, the graphics processor warms up normally but there is no display on the screen. I've tried resetting the cmos, re-sitting the ram modules, tried different combinations with ram, but whenever i switch it on, it gives me the same peep code as above. Your insight would be very appreciated.

thanks, I noticed that after swapping the ram sticks to the other port the port no longer can carry the same ram stick or it will start beeping and not booting, meaning that the port died then? never buying lenovo ever again.
