@@LIFEINHAITI it’s ok my sister. Two eyes are better than one. About the house, indeed it’s big, too big even. One can get lost in it. The design doesn’t make sense. Too many unnecessary rooms. I would have loved to see a big gathering room, an open plan with those many bedrooms around and upstairs. It’s a very confusing, chaotic site to navigate the interior of this house.
@@i.m.6758 Obviously you don’t know what you are talking about. You don’t know anything about home selling. The house needs to be appealing, attractive to the buyers. The sheets are not for the buyers, but for the look of the house.
@@balexander7443 yea that’s for the short sighted I guess. When I look at a house I see my vision for it. I can look at clean lot of land and see my house, yard, the garage, cars parked, and my kids playing outside. Bottom line is, if somebody wants something, and they can afford it, they’ll buy it.
This house is not suitable for retirees. The house wasn’t well built and the construction has a heavy mortar presence and the pillars are not well placed. The house is not well ventilated and is lack of sunlight. One more thing, the ceiling is too low. This house wasn’t built as one unit. There’s a lot of adds-on which make the house not attractive and grandiose. Good luck!

I mean no disrespect, but the look of this house doesn't represent its value ( EXTREMLY EXSPENSIVE), the design is completely basic bar- the entrance area, displaying century style pillars and just beyond the main door, period style furniture's, only in that part of the house..... This house as you mention will need a lot of work to stimulate interest, its character of design' continues through-out the whole house, making no room distinctive from each other ... and even though its on a large scale , some areas like the downstairs section appears claustrophobic ... very little light enters the building why ??? and considering this house was built about 12-13 years ago , why does it look like its been built in 1930?... But apart from that i do enjoy your content !!!!!!!!!!
It’s European style which is usually early 1900s look. The more I travel the more I realize that American houses are trash and overpriced. You could never get that much house in America for that.
There are too many personal items lying around in that house. You can't get a feel on to how envision living there. Staging will the house beautifully will make a big difference . But, definitely not my style. TY😊
Thanks for the tour of this lovely home Marie and Gaby. Is Thomassin a community within the city of Petionville? What are the typical things to look for or expect when buying a house as an example in La Plaine, Ayiti? In America, location is key, style of home, year built, square footage of property, property taxes, accessibility to markets, banks, community amenities, travel time to town center, school quality etc... Are there closing costs? Does Ayiti offer any programs to assist you in buying a home? I'm interested in Jacmel and Leogane areas, does Gaby cover these areas?
@Kbleu you can consider this home in the community of Petionville it is however higher in the mountains In the community you have access to several banks Markets and 5:36 clinics. The Thomassin area is known to have some of the best schools. You are liable to pay taxes to the extent of the law but once you own a home in Haiti it belongs to you for generations. The home was built in 2012 Unfortunately there no program that I’m aware of which assist you in purchasing a home in Haiti. GREAT video This is a house for people who have a large family, it is an upscale house that need a lot of renovations. The kitchen is outdated , and many other things need to be fix , in order for it to truely look like the upscale home that it was design to be. This is not a house most Haitians living in Haiti can afford . Someone from the diaspora , or a foreigner who want to live in Haiti can make a deal with the owner.

I'm wondering to know who was that architect who designed that floorplan, no codes for the running water and the electricity , etc.. . Big block cement materials in a country that is subjected to major earthquake. This is not a home, it looks more like an exhibit hall, artifacts all over and not placed in order. This not a retirement place, the maintenance must be very costly, the walls covered with molds, poorly painted. Please be for real there's no need for that much material constructions.
