    The moral to what you're saying is to give ADVICE, not DIRECTIONS. People don't like how you raise your chickens. Maybe they should do videos on RUclips on how to raise qaib thai in the winter... Keep doing what you're doing as long as it works for you. I'm here to support you. No one is perfect. "DON'T BE THAT GUY" I like that 😂

    You are right. I built mine like that and it really warm up during the day. I don’t even want to go home because the coop is warmer than my house.

      Is true about that. On a sunny day you could be in there without jacket on and still comfortable

    Oh, forgot to mention that’s I’m Hmong sister, not a Hmong brother so I’m just learning all kinds of things from you, your brother and other Hmong brothers. I’m not one of keyboard warriors who just talkative and form all kinds of randomly opinions but I do have empathy/love/care for both animals and humans.
    Your way of raising qaibs is great which I do see your way so like I said, I still support you and your ways of raising qaibs all the way 100% but remember there are many different type of viewers who is animals rights or some sort of animal activist group that’s gonna don’t like the animals is sick and dead or they’re thinking it’s some form of animal abuse so be aware of those viewers cause they’re might ended your channel.
    Indeed, I sometimes curious about Hmong brothers mindset when both Hmong brother RUclipsr and Hmong brother viewers just mention the same thing all over again so I’ll just follow-up both Hmong brother RUclipsr words and Hmong brother viewers comments.
    For the large coop with heat stove or water heater, I think it’s just general and common because a lot of Hmong brothers have large coop with head stove or water heater so that’s one reason of the why , your way is too different from their way. For me, I rather to do greenhouse without heat stove but water heater for those can’t take the coldness at all and those are from warmer states that’s haven’t been exposed to cold harsh winter weather.

    Hater is going to hate . Don't falls for these keyboard warriors trap brother continue to do what you do. Your chickens are well taken care of. Chickens are naturally raised outdoors in the elements where they can adapt so their future offspring can inherited these hardy traits.

      I don’t sell any but if you are new and plan to build coop in Midwest. This is the best way so far. I try many types over the years. This will keep them safe and warm during the daytimes in winter.

      Thanks. Wood stove is a lot of work. I think some of the people make suggestions they live in a warmer climate and they don’t know that raising here is difficult

      Thank you. I’m always ok with people opinions but I don’t like it when people think that I shouldn’t raise birds if I don’t do a heated coop to keep the birds warm

    You are right... chickens are more hardy than some people give them credit for.. mainly the wind is what hurt them.. I think lawm pab koj khuxim koj cov qaib, tsi xav kuas lawm raug mob lossis frostbite..

    • @simpleguyfarm
      @simpleguyfarm  12 дней назад

      Yes they are very hardy. I use to put a heater in the coop back in the days when I first started raising and now I know that they can survive without heat source. I just want the new beginner to know you can raise like this but not everyone see the way I see

    No need for heater or wood burner. It's the wind that kills, not the cold. Some people are just uneducated and close-minded. Just keep doing what works for you.

    • @simpleguyfarm
      @simpleguyfarm  11 дней назад

      I don’t know why do people say that a wood stove needed. I raise for a long time and my birds always fine without it. No risk of burning the coop or going to put wood every night and day

    People will say what they want but as a viewer and also one who is passionate about Asian gamefowl from bloodlines down to animal husbandry and everything in between. It’s a bit hard to watch seeing the dead birds, frost bit toes, sick birds, over crowding and excessive droppings in the coops. Many of these factors causes sickness/disease and possibly health related issues. You do what’s best for you but keep in mind these videos are public u never know who’s watching everyone from die hard chicken lovers to animal rights groups. It might not be just u but everyone who raises and passionate about these breeds could be affected if the wrong groups see it.

    True brother. Your way works too but minimally. We are all fancier and hobbyist, and we all know when the right amount of effort is given. You Keep birds for many yr and you and your brother seem to like this hobby. Brothers are just saying your set up seem too lite and temporary - that's all.

    Depend on what you do with your bird… if you raise like this brother here… just for looks than it’s ok… you don’t need to worry… if they die they die.. it don’t matter because to them a chicken is just a chicken but if you are a GAMER or a real gamer than it’s a different story… this brother is just raising for fur n looks… I get it..

      I agree with you. This just to make sure make sure they survive the winter. Which they will. I just don’t like it when people say I’m abusing them because i don’t make a heated coop for them

      No every coop is the same. As long as that work for them I think is good. Plastic help the coop a lot in the winter. Keep the heat inside and warm them a lot.
