This hits hard for because I quit soccer because the team was calling me trash, then I broke my leg and just quit because I lost all my buildup training. Now I’m getting into volleyball and building muscle as a sophomore.
Being skinny is okay. Not being skinny is okay too. But making fun of someone or solely treating them differently, only because of their body type is not okay at all. People who are like that need to grow up. I guarantee that if you were fat or too skinny you would not want anyone making fun of you. In fact making fun of someone for their own appearance could make them not want to show themselves ever again.

It’s very hurtful when you shame someone for being skinny because it’s just as worse calling someone is fat and you don’t know what are they going through and they might have a medical problems that prevents them to lose weight or gain weight and we need to look out each other because we are not alone.

This story is honestly really inspiring to me. I play both soccer and basketball and people always tell me I’m a “twig” or look at how small I am and what am I gonna do about it. Well that doesn’t stop me. Some day I’m gonna be the best of the best and I gonna prove everyone wrong. I don’t care how much work it take because I will get there. I am also very fast and even tho im one of the smallest on the team I know I am the fastest and I could get around all the players on my team. So if your reading this, no matter if your small or big, short or tall, fast or slow, you can do anything you put your mind to believe in yourself and work each and every day. Don’t give up I believe in you!
