Taylor is crazy underrated for her ability to capture emotions in music and lyrics like this. Yeah...its a good cover. But Taylor had to live it for them to be able to do this cover.

While I do agree that it is a good cover, I don't agree that this one doesn't have the same amount of emotion. Especially putting it in the style of a duet- it makes it even more powerful and emotional. There are always two sides to a breakup and I think a lot of breakup songs forget this.

Most people have gone through a breakup and, as such, they are able to understand and feel what this song brings to life. These girls channeled their own break ups/bad feelings/crushes and put it into the song. Same with the men.
