A deductible is a set amount which patient needs to pay each year for healthcare before plan starts to share the costs of covered.
Can u please check and clear whether the amout is paid to provider or Insurance?

Pant, I have a question...say my deductible is 500$. If had visited doctor 5 times in a year where copay is 25$, so the total 125$ falls into deductible bucket or its separate?

I have a silly question to you.
And that is If a patient deductible amount is $5000 & he paid $5000 deductible than he/she will get benefits till the time until insurance cover $5000 claim amount or they can will get coverage of $7000 ?
In short, if patient take plan of $5000 than payer will give benefits of $7000 or not?
Plan will start covering the policy benefits amount. It could be anything which patient has opted.

If deductible is not met and found other active insurance if we bill to that insurance they will refuse to pay because deductible amount is not met yet it's totally patient's responsibility. So why secondary insurance will pay?
Ex:1000 dollar is annual deductible amount
Patient first claim billed is 400 dollar. Primary applied towards deductible to patient 400 dollar, as per EOB if we bill to secondary active insurance so they will also refuse to pay until 1000 dollars will not met. My question is that why we need to bill secondary insurance.we need to bill patient, Until all visits of the patient billed amount cost 1000 dollar till we can bill patient
in many cases secondary insurance covers primary deductibles for example: medicaid secondary
