Tweek’s Seph is such a joy to watch
I see nothing exciting but ok.. I prefer diddy
My boy got slowly downloaded over the first couple of matches…it was inevitable…Tweek is a master…cemented top player for sure…now I can’t wait to see Leo vs Tweek.

Tweek makes it look easy, but this matchup is actually extremely difficult for Sephiroth. The fact alone that wolf has a reflector heavily disrupts Sephiroths game plan. Wolf has extremely safe attacks and neutral and plenty of combos off of grab and dash attack, whereas Sephiroth has poor grab game in general and hardly any true combos (there are some strings, but they aren't true). Basically, Wolf gets to make three moves where Sephiroth can do one. Even though Tweek won quite convincingly - I think Sephiroth is in dire need of further buffs.
So happy to see Tweek stick it out with Seph

Still haven't seen anyone else's sephiroth that even comes close to tweek's. So entertaining to watch how good he is with him. Great set btw. Props to both players. 👌
At the start of the third round I could really feel what Seph means with "How shall I break their spirits?"

Agree. His diddy has already nothing to prove anymore, he just needs to get the Seph to the same level or even just close and he will be favorite to any tournament he'll participate...
I wish he never put his hands on Mythra though...That would be the end of everything lol
your thought is correct because in a former video he’s said that he uses Sephiroth for fun and to keep up the grind

@@guywithoutmustache4956 He said in a later podcast he started playing her, he's not gonna main her now because he's focused on Diddy and Sep so far, but he says " a timeline has been created" about Mythra...Think he will end up playing her in tournament at a point or another.

People have been saying this even back when Leo kept beating Tweek. I enjoy Tweek's gameplay more than Leo's but come on... Leo has proved repeatedly, going all the way back to Smash 4, that he is better. Sure, Tweek could overtake him, but it's odd to me that even with Leo consistently proving he's better there's still people at all stages who claim Tweek is the best.
Really don't see Tweek beating Leo with how good Joker matches against both Sephiroth and Diddy. Tweek is also lucky Samsora is gone. He overtook him in ranking before lockdown, and Peach should have an extremely good matchup with them, as well.

It really does come down to decision making and not tech skill at the higher level.
Tech skill is important depending on who you play, and how you play. You dont need tech skill but it really does add another mix up to your fundamentals, just watch players like YB or even tweeks diddy
In my opinion it comes down to spacing
I say it's a combo of good tech knowledge and decision making.

We ALL love Tweek and his awesome gameplay but let’s tone down on the commentator bias a bit yeh? Great commentary knowledge but you guys barely talked about Wolf as a character and Jackal as a player. It was 95:5 Tweek & Seph.
Very bias. The commentator also said that tweek is the best player and can body Leo.

Because Diddy is a better charactwr by a long shot. Seph is designed as a counterpick or secondary character. Not a main.
It's mainly because he's more practiced with Diddy. Looks like he wants to bring his Sephiroth to that level as well.
