Hi, I'm going to Tawian taipei and kaoshuing in May 2023. Am I allowed to bring back bagged candy and bagged snacks with me to America in my purse or carry-on? Also, for 14 days, NOT INCLUDING THE HOTEL OR AIR FAIR, but will $2,900 US dollars be enough for Food? A few museums, a few gifts and transportation ? Thanks
Woah, that's 88,000 NTD. That is way more than enough for pocket money!! My one week only spent around 10,000 NTD and that's already very generous with food and souvenirs.
@@met1208 oh wow ok So in your opinion should I only take $900 US dollars turn them into TWD $100 dollar bills? Before I leave ? I think I’m thinking about it all wrong in my mind the 100 dollar bills in TWD are in fact $100 dollar bills ?🙄🤔, my friend that lives there said don’t worry about the one dollar TWD yet they will give me change when I give them the $ 100 dollar bill ! I just hope they give me small change I don’t want to get the coins in America even though they are the One dollar bill as a coin ? Am I making sense 😩🤣🤣🙄 Also within that 10,000 TwD I’m assuming I can buy the easy pass for $200 in twd? Will 200 be enough for transportation? Ok thanks so much 🌹🌹
@@ABOVETHECLOUDS007 Okay, so my suggestion is bring about $1,000 USD. That should be around 30,000 NTD and that should be more than enough pocket money for 2 weeks. If it isn't, withdraw some from your ATM. But from my experience, 30,000 NTD is more than enough for 2 weeks unless you want to go shopping like crazy. When you arrive at the airport, exchange $100 USD at the airport money changer - this is just a bit more than enough for food and transportation to get you to Taipei City. When you arrive in Taipei, find a money changer and exchange the rest of your USD. Only because the ones in downtown can give you a better currency exchange than the one in the airport.
@M i really do appreciate your info, and I'm sorry to keep bothering u. ok, so I understand, BUT you don't think I should exchange the US dollars in America before I leave? I trust the people of Taiwan more than China 🤣🤣🤣Sorry bad joke, although I was there in 2018. Anyway, I can't fit too much in my suitcase anyway, so I won't be bringing much home , and I'm actually going right to Kaoshuing 1st to see my friend for a week then off to taipei to finish my trip so I'll be start my trip on May 10th leave Taipei on the 22nd Also so you think the $100 NTD will be enough for 2 weeks. For transportation? Plus, I'll be taking the high-speed rail way (twice) Also, IF I had to get money from my debit, is it OK to get it from an ATM from the grocery store? I saw a video once where there is this one particular store they safe it's safe and cheaper there to get funds! Im afraid if i change the money at the exchange, both i won't get a good rate🤔 Or should I go to the bank?...I'm also wondering if I could pay the hotel there in cash. Obviously, their currency 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 You HAVE HELPED ME ALOT AND I GREATLY APPRECIATE IT THANKS FOR TIME
I'm Taiwanese. We put some sour plums into coke or green tea and its amazing.
What!!??? Sour plums - I love them!!!!
GOOD
泡餅要加在米茶,還是杏仁茶裡
Frozen bubble...US costco sells that
蹦米香不能放太久,放久了會軟掉,口感就不好了。現在不好買了,偶而在路上看到就會帶一袋回家,好吃又便宜,熱量也還好,就怕一片接一片,停不了!
Pop rice...US supermkt does sells it
where did you buy instant bubble tea? I am trying to find it in Taiwan but no success. Could you please help?
