@@fearB4 Azael is a great caster but his voice going up and down hsa annoyed me so much over the years. It got a lot better a couple years ago but then worse again. It's not too bad now but my brain has learned to be annoyed by him.
I love Kobe and Flowers but Jatt was always (arguably) the best in everything he does.
His passion, love and intense interest for the game and stats has always showed.
The best thing about NA is the casters lol. Not all of them of course... :D
It's azael but honestly azael/kobe plus flowers is def the best in the world (English speaking)

Isn't it crazy that Inspired isn't signed. I think Quid has played very well for having a non-existant jungler so imagine if they had Inspired with these strong lanes.
@@eyeslikeoceans Inspired would fit perfectly with DL's playstyle too. To be honest Busio needs to step up too he gets caught way too much and can't set up vision well for DL its sad
This match wasn't who is going to win. It was who is going to throw.
I dont get what the plan was by 100t. As soon as you see naut sejuani, jayce should go to ssumday, and maokai should go to busio. bush saplings and shock blast poke are useless once sej gets warmogs, and naut can w most of the damage if he gets hit. instead they double down on poke comp with renata, dig decides to go poke comp with ziggs-and they steal away the ksante. This time, for sure 100t should realize they cant play/win with poke, send jayce top, bite the bullet and run tank mao jg, and pick an AP carry mid like viktor or something. Gwen locks them into 4-1..
dig didnt even play their comp particularly well. theres just nothing 100t can do without someone who, at the very at least, can absorb ziggs mines. jensen couldve played this game with one hand..

Pretty impressive for Dig to get a 5k gold lead before 25 mins and drag the game out an additional 20 minutes
Was it more impressive than Doublelift playing frontline Xayah and tanking every Kaisa void seeker and getting destroyed 2v1 by Ksante with ult and flash up and not pulling feathers?

wasnt the renata w actually bugged at the last elder fight? busio w's dl but gets oneshot by elder buff.
Been a while since I've played, but isn't Elder Dragons excecute true damage? Maby true damage ignores Renata bail out?
@@JVMyhre actually you can see when 100 try to defend the base after that, renata w's gwen and her health is restored to 100 despite the elder buff. so it definitely was a bug.
100T made this so unnecessarily hard for themselves with that awful draft. if you're clearly going to draft around DL then surround him with frontline? what is the renata supposed to do here exactly? i thought she was meant to be picked against enemies with high attack speed/dps autos. dig actually had a vision and identity; drafting frontline for their 2 damage dealers, kaisa and ziggs. if you watch, ziggs and kaisa literally never take dmg because sejuani and naut provide all the peel and engage they need. DL on the other hand gets caught several times because he literally has 0 frontline. just go maokai support and pick an engage/tank jungler? i dont get it
I got a bad feeling as soon as I saw Renata. 100t has so many shit drafts. Doublelift with so much experience and skill should be able to play what the team needs instead of always having everything around him imo. And he's been my fav player since season 2.
I think the idea was anti-dive. Both Renata and xayah are the best anti-dive in class , meant to counter what naut/Kaisa is supposed to do, which theoretically would let them stay strong as 4 while Gwen split pushes. Dig pivoted to poke with ziggs mid to get around that, but honestly I think Renata did its job keeping dig from being able to engage successfully throughout the mid game and dragging it out until late. I think part of the issue was that ssumday was so behind early that his split push didn't come online until after baron and soul were on the table, forcing him to group. And obviously losing elder in the last teamfight...
@@sryanr2 the anti-dive is a good point but drafting defensively is never a good strat. you're already conceding before the game even starts, that just doesn't make any sense. the renata stays, fine, but there's really no excuse for not drafting another engage/frontline champ

But regardless, his past proves he is one of the greatest if not the greatest NA player. So saying he's the issue single handedly is a big misstep

Closer needs to try new champions in his free time and scrims, re-invent himself since he went from a top LCS jungler to consistenly shit. I feel like we have 3 great lanes, Quid has potential and is doing well with a garbage jungler but Closer can't win games even with lanes who win a lot. Imagine Inspired instead of him..
I hate 90% of the drafts, I feel like there's too much reliance on Doublelift to carry when you can't really play protect the adc anymore. Too much dashes and weird spells to rely on the ADC do carry late game. They get popped.
@@eyeslikeoceans you should watch some LPL, half the time the adc will suicide and do max damage so the rest of the team can clean up. kinda insane.
@@allenlin3050 I've watched LPL since early seasons. That's kind of the way I play too, I have no problems dying in any role if it means my team can get a lot from it. ADCs should also be the bait, trying to get people to engage on to them and fail (but not always, depends on what youre fighting for, where, team comps and how risky it is)
The chinese have always played my favorite kind of league and put NA to shame in every aspect. I've just followed LCS since season 2 so I'm invested and like to root for the underdog, hoping someday they'll win worlds (which I'm 99% sure they wo't lol)

Quid looked weak at every point in the game. This Jayce/Azir spam is not working. Ssumday is actually looking like the strongest player on the team and closer looks like a former shell of himself

I think Quid has potential, we can't judge him too harshly since he's playing with Closer.. Both mid and support suffer from a clueless jungler more than the others.

Great take followed by a bunch of shit ones in the replies of this thread lol. There is a very clear lack of understanding of him knowing when he is strong. I am not sure what he normally plays in Soloqueue, but I think coaching should do their best to give him comfort. if its Jayce/Azir... Ouch.

Ssumday is the biggest threat in that last fight and his positioning for a "flank" was the downfall of that game. He needed to threaten them from the front since Closer was essentially out of the fight. It would've also helped if there was any semblance of poke coming out of Quid that last fight, too.

This 100% feels like closer just being inactive. Like genuinely 0 first blood participation all split is pretty much inexcusable especially at this point. They might as well have picked a random Diamond jungler, told him just play tanks and be where the team needs and they would have not had any difference.
