Gracias amor! Es un placer verlos a todos de nuevo. No puedo prometer que volveré constantemente, pero si hay suficiente apoyo, tal vez pueda hacerlo. Vamos a ver! Me alegra que hayan sido utiles. Siempre es tan agradable escuchar
Loving the content! I have to go back every few months and listen to the video with the guy talking about playing basketball😂 after a few years I understand most of it
Sin “close captions,” oí todo menos la primera palabra.😅 Entiendo tu velocidad en este vídeo. Voy a mirar otros porque a veces hay dominicanos que nunca entiendo. Gracias por la clase.
Much respect to you and thanks for putting in the efforts so we can have this content. I am a beginner and definitely want to learn a Caribbean accent in Spanish. So RD, PR, Cuba, etc. I guess they are all very similar.
De nada! They’re definitely different, but to a new ear, they will sound more the same, for sure, because of the region. Especially, if you compared RD to Mexico or Spain, Cuba and PR will sound more closer to RD. But once you get more accustomed, you will hear the difference in how it sounds. The similarities lies in things such as the cutting of the “s”. But a big telltale sign if you can’t hear the difference yet, will be the jerga and expressions used. Best wishes in your learning adventures! I appreciate you being here and dropping a comment 😀
@@TuyYoSomosDos Ok cool. Glad to be here learning. Quick question, are you Dominicana or someone who learned the language really well like another content creator named Billingue Blogs? Just curious.
I lived in the Dominican Republic, and also lived in a Dominican family household for 10 years due to my ex-husband (who you’ll see in my videos from 6-7 yrs ago). I am also a salsera, and have been for 18 yrs. I live in NY now, and my church is bilingual with a lot of Dominicans, and I used to live in the Bronx in neighborhoods where people just speak to you in Spanish first mainly, especially if they are used to you. Also, I have 3 degrees, with one of my bachelor’s being in Spanish language, and I taught Spanish in a middle school years ago. And now, my current fiance is Cuban. En cuanto a mi raza, soy mestiza pero no con raíces dominicana.
@@TuyYoSomosDos Ok cool. So you have a lot of experience with the language and even teaching it. Good stuff. I definitely gotta get down to RD and Cuba too as well as PR. Love the caribbean accents and those are the people I grew up around mostly as far as latinos go: boriquas mainly and some dominicans. Anyway, look forward to more of your content. Keep it coming. Much success to you from a beginner. If you know of any, lemme know any dominican shows or podcasts to listen to. Thanks in advance my sister.
Thanks so much! 😀🙏🏽 I appreciate it, but am sad to say him and I have gone our separate ways several years ago, but there’s nothing but mucho amor and thankfulness for our time together. Y mil gracias por seguir viendo este canal
