    Hello from Denmark. What is the story about the beautiful furniture in the background. is it local, old ?

    • @vintagepipesnightmares
      @vintagepipesnightmares  6 месяцев назад

      Hello to Denmark!
      I’ve never been to Denmark but I love a lot of things about it! Including licorice that my friend buys me from Denmark. Nobody eats licorice in the East but me.😆
      We have huge forests here so it must be from Romanian wood. It’s just furniture bought from the store 🤷‍♂️

    Hey Silviu! You forgot the most important of all: Balkan Sobranie! Almost everyone gets it wrong! Uh, Conniston...this one knocked me out a few times! Strong stuff! Handle with care!

      @vintagepipesnightmares  6 месяцев назад +1

      God damn it you are right ! If I will remember I will say it in my next video.
      My all time favorite it’s dark flake which in my opinion it’s by far the strongest tobacco ever.
      So Coniston it’s like a dessert for me😆
      🙏👍

      At least Chris doesn’t have to take melatonin to sleep like I do. Just some Coniston 😆
      Yes these Stanwells designed by , Eltang, Sixten, Nanna Ivarson , Jess are hard to find everywhere.
      Here everything is rare. I bought all these pipes in many years. No ebay. Just hard work and patience.

      In my opinion zero pipes worth 100$ second hand. Zero.
      Maybe old Dunhill’s because you can always get more than you’ve paid.
      But for smoking…..hell no!! Zero

      They will discontinue quite a few that I don’t remember now.

      @@vintagepipesnightmaresSo I did some digging and a conversation came up in the"Pipe Den" forum between a GH rep and the group about this. Apparently there is coniston cut plug and coniston cut plug aromatic, it is the aromatic that was killed off for being I guess too similar to the original as well as selling poorly. So I guess its still around in one form or another.

      @@vintagepipesnightmares I wouldnt know but the Coniston I have is aromatic enough. My favorite aromatics from them are the Brown and Dark flake Aros I think they are amazing.

      I only had a small sample of dark flake and a small sample of Coniston. Never heard of brown flake aromatic. I am sure they are all great.
      The only ones I actually had are Samuel Gawith none aromatics because that’s the only ones I could buy.
      So they are the ones I’ve smoked for many years
