The stars are blotted out,
The clouds are covering clouds,
It is darkness vibrant, sonant.
In the roaring, whirling wind
Are the souls of a million lunatics
Just loose from the prison-house,
Wrenching trees by the roots,
Sweeping all from the path.
The sea has joined the fray,
And swirls up mountain-waves,
To reach the pitchy sky.
The flash of lurid light
Reveals on every side
A thousand, thousand shades
Of Death begrimed and black -
Scattering plagues and sorrows,
Dancing mad with joy,
Come, Mother, come!
For Terror is Thy name,
Death is in Thy breath,
And every shaking step
Destroys a world for e’er.
Thou “Time”, the All-Destroyer!
Come, O Mother, come!
Who dares misery love,
And hug the form of Death,
Dance in Destruction’s dance,
To him the Mother comes.

I interacted with Swamiji at the Hollywood temple a few times. He is very generous with his time and he has great energy. He made me feel worthy of his attention. I love what I'm hearing so far just a few minutes into this talk. I'm in infatuated with Kali's immense beauty and tenderness yet I fear her ferociousness. The dichotomy is alluring.
Best talk on Mother Kali I have ever listened. Tears... Bliss... Trance...

Like Sri Ramakrishna before him, Swamiji was the hand maiden of Ma Kali. Swamiji had remarked to Sister Nivedita that She used the body of Sri Ramakrishna for Her ends. He too was used by Ma for Her work. A wonderful sermon by Swamiji. Pronam

Its as if vivekananda were a secret aghori.
But these are the true roots of the religion,

no vivekananda never practiced aghora nor did ramakrishna ,rk practicies vigyan tantra but himalayas have aghor,siddha, shudda kaula ,bhairav kaula ,right hand tantra ,left hand tantra naga sadhana all......
Before I knew anything at all about the deities she appeared to me in a dream. A voice advising me to seek out a lost god, that is a goddess lost to minds but alive through time. I was shown a painting. Her name is Priva. Her countenance is pale blue, almost white. She wears a crown of golden flames. She smiles adorned by flowers pure and pleasant.
When I seek out Priva is when I find Kali. The goddess is not black. She is all things.
(The word Priva I understand as an abbreviation of the word "private.")

Shiva is form of pure Brahman and her consort mother Kali is her energy, Shakti.
She is absolute... She is the one who makes shava to shiva.
She is the one who is eternal. Mahakali is beyond time and mahakal is time...

Neither can exist one another.
Ramkrishna gave example, Sun is like Shiva and its light is Kali.
Now one cannot imagine Sun without light neither light without Sun.
