Principles of Teeth arrangement for Complete Dentures - on a three point Articulator as demonstrated by Dr.Manohar Surendra to his IInd Year Preclinical Prosthodontics lab
Finally someone who’s making it more easy to understand 😩 thanks! We’re starting to make these in a few weeks but I am practicing because of the time pressure that will be given to us during class hours
thanks for all the likes and the responses were encouraging. One of the viewers had asked for balanced occlusion. The teeth arrangement is done in a three point articulator and it is a non adjustable articulator. the movements are fixed in only one angle of condylar guidance. The guidance which is preset in the articulator is 40 degrees. I will upload a video next on how to do balanced occlusion using a semi adjustable articulator. In clinical settings balancing is possible using a semi adjustable articulator with facebow record.
Nice demonstration , but one thing comes in my mind that do we get such ideal ridges and ideal wax rims in clinical practice. It's very satisfying to do an ideal teeth setting on ideal model , but try it on some of the patients models where you don't even get sufficient ridge to do such ideal work. Nice job anyways , the basic principles of teeth arrangement would be very helpful to the students . Nice job brother
One of the general principle of teeth arrangement is that, all the maxillary teeth should overlap the mandbibular teeth. if the rule is violated even by one tooth it is called cross bite. It can range from single tooth cross bite to segmental cross bite. Complete arch cross bite is one where the entire maxillary arch is overlapped by the mandibular arch - termed as scissors bite. Hope i answered your query. sorry for the delayed reply

This was infact filmed in our dental training laboratory which has these burners and tubes over a granite table top which gives an effect of a prison set up. Will try to improve the background. Guess you are benefited by the content of the video.
