thanks ed this podcast is fast becoming one of my favourites i really cant work tom out the first ten minuites he looks like he dosen,t want to be there the miserable old git you can imagine him as a grumpy 80 year old telling his grandchildren what a great motocrosser he was lol. no but joking aside 250 tom is a great asset to that class i think joel will be the biggest threat to him though billy crasher isn,t quite ready yet to challenge 250 tom fast yes but staying on the bike no the name say,s it all lol.

Can I get some advice from you guys? I was in Portugal last week, doing a little “novice” off road training. I ended up coming off and breaking my collarbone. I’m 52 and even before the accident friends and family thought I was trying to compensate for getting old. Now they seem to have justification in their condemnation of my attempt at this hobby. I’ve been riding motorbikes “on road” for about 15 years, and off road for about 3, on and off and not had an injury in all this time. My worry now is getting back on the bike. I appreciate you guys have numerous accident and injuries so my questions, how long did it take you to recover from a broken collarbone, did you opt for surgery, my consultant has advised against.
