  • This demo from the 'MAPLE FLOW - Powered By Maple' series shows how the data connectivity feature of Maple Flow can pass through engineering data values from MS Access databases ready for use with design analysis for projects. This is Part 1 and shows how an engineer can connect directly to MS Access from a calculation worksheet. The video for Part 2 shows advanced data connectivity workflow options for MS Access, using Maple to develop the interface, test it, and then deploy it to Maple Flow to provide further automation of engineering analysis tasks: • Data Connectivity with...
By connecting directly with the MS Access database, Maple Flow simplifies the collection of essential engineering data (such as manufacturer spec sheets, hardware lists, tables of parameters and tolerances, etc.) for project calculations. This integration significantly reduces the need for manual data entry, minimizing errors and accelerating the workflow. As the MS Access repositories are updated over time, the Maple Flow design worksheets are kept up-to-date. As a result, engineers can create design templates without worrying about extra data management effort, so they can focus on productive analysis and decision-making.
