      Would you add heavier weight element to the strength training down the road?

    Wish I would’ve found your channel and these drills before I started running again at 55, my knee wouldn’t be jacked up right now! Great channel!

    Thanks for the reminder Eric. Great exercises to re-set and re-build strength through the winter. I coach junior triathlon in the UK and have been using all of your advice on our young athletes. What a difference it has made. Thank you!

    Hey Eric. I started incorporating sticky hops and short sprints in my workouts. This past week I started training for two spring ultras, so let’s see how things go. Your videos are awesome.

    Awesome drills! Definitely going to add these to my strength work. Finally came out of a long plateau due to just adding strength training. I was always skeptical, now Im not! I’ve been doing more traditional squats and lunges (Bulgarian split squats), foot work, and one legged drills. It all helps. Looking forward to trying these drills.

    I love your videos and both your born to run books. I do have a question how would one add the fitness correction exercises and the form exercise into a schedule that has weightlifting and running? I had analyzed my first 100 mile marathon and came out with some injuries and a dnf. Which helped me see I am weak in areas and need to fix it. Before I attempt it again. Any advice can help. Or if it’s easier for me to dm so I can explain more please let me know

    Thank you so much for this great info! Should we do only ONE set of 6-10x reps per exercise? And should it be 6-10x reps PER side, so 12-20x when alternating sides?
    Thanks again, your videos are much slower paced than what has become usual on youtube, yet I always take the time to watch them because they are full of valuable information. Have fun in NZ!

    Hi Eric, you say not to do more than 6 to 10 times.
    Are they 6 sets of 6 each. Or just 6 times per exercise.
    Thank you so much. I love running and all your videos are helping me to enjoy it even more and I had a pain for years in my right hip and since doing your forefoot strength, the pain's just gone .

    Coach, I’m reading BTR 2, and it’s extremely helpful. Do you think it matters whether beginners run on the treadmill versus the ground? Is there an advantage to running on the ground? Apologies if you’ve already addressed this somewhere.

  • @yeahhhhh9209
    @yeahhhhh9209 Год назад

    Eric just a question, do you recommend doing the exercises with super natural shoes like xero shoes, or is it better to use some more protective shoes because of the ground impact ? what shoes are you wearing in the video(at the end..)?

    I try not to obsess over all the new metrics my watch tracks, but I did just wonder, does leg stiffness affect "vertical oscillation," too? I.e, maybe more leg stiffness means less bouncing up and down as you run?

    Is it okay that I land on my toes first, not my foot?

    • @BornToRunCoach
      @BornToRunCoach  Год назад

      I would recommend landing on your forefoot and not the toes. Run in place barefoot to get this feeling.

    Everything he says makes complete sense but it's too much for my Brain , when trying to really over think about all this when running I start to feel like a baby giraffe wonky galloping along 😅
