All about Jack Fowler
Jack Fowler was introduced to music by his St Helenian father, and soul and reggae music were a permanent fixture in his household. Performing from a young age, Jack seemed to always find himself in front of a camera, singing along to his father’s favourites: Stevie Wonder, James Brown and The Spinners.
As Jack hit his teen years, he developed his own eclectic taste, specifically favouring the R&B, rap, house and garage genres with his passion for music quickly becoming part of his foundation. In 2011 Jack discovered J. Cole and was inspired by his ability to bring his music to life through storytelling, depicting relatable R&B themes accompanied by a hip-hop baseline.
Self-titled PartyNextDoor’s album in 2013 became Jack’s summer soundtrack, and this is where he began his writing journey. During the summer of 2018, Jack was faced with a major television opportunity that positioned him in front of millions on ITV2’s Love Island, which then led to a string of further appearances and the opportunity for him to build his profile in the industry.
A chance meeting with Simon Webbe of Webbe Industries put Jack’s childhood dream in play where Jack was teamed up with songwriter David King, whose credits include a #1 album in the UK and #1 in seven countries.
In 2020 Jack can now be found in the studio. With Simon Webbe as one of his managers, Jack has released his first independent single ‘Back to Yours’, taken from his EP RUDE to be released in summer 2020.
