First of all- absolutely LOVE your hair it is so cute i love the color scheme!
ok , secondly the 1st knot was good, the 2nd one with the needle seemed like i wasn't getting it- but once I was finished, it somehow magically worked! lol
I like the 2nd knot actually lol it never fails no matter how much Im thinking to myself "I messed up"
    THANK YOU*

This was amazing. I’ve not mastered the knot yet, but I’m going to practice now. Thank you for such a great tutorial.

I use the rolled finger technique and this was really nice way to explaining it.

I do the tie off stitch at the beginning and end mostly. And the wrap around the needle occasionally.

How do you secure it to the needle?

I know this is an older video but I'm confused as to how to actually secure it to the needle... 🤷🏼‍♀️ Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You don't really need to secure it to the needle. You'll want to put it through the eye of the needle and knot one end. And then you just start sewing. The thread stays most of the time, sometimes it does pull out if you pull too hard. But having a good toothy thread helps keep it inside the eye of the needle. Does that make sense?
