      Hey Rich, Yes there’s a lot of very nice manufacturers of tractors but John Deere has the ease of implement swaps down to a science.. especially with the auto parking loader. Once they came out with that single point connection for John Deere I knew it would be a game changer for me. Take care my friend.

    Thanks for the video tutorials. Helps a lot. Does Deere make a quick change solution for changing the blower to the brush and back with this single-point upgrade? I use our 1023e (wish it was a 25 or 26) all year long for the school district where I work. In the case of the blower/brush, the quick-connect bracket would be an issue for me as its used on both implements.

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  Год назад

      Hey Avery, Thanks for stopping by to check out the video. Sorry I just seen your comment. I don’t see why you couldn’t install the single point on the brush just like I did the snowblower. Once you install the lower half to the tractor. You can add that upper half of the single point connection to any attachment you wanted. (Snowblower, Brush, grapple) You just have to purchase the upper half like I did for whatever attachments you wanted to add extra. Take Care

    Nice video, one question, don't you have to release the hydro pressure before taking off the coupler ?

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  3 месяца назад

      Hey Eric,
      Thanks for stopping by the channel to check out the video. To answer your question. No, you don’t need to purge the hydro pressure off before you take off the single point like you do on the pain in the butt original connectors. That’s what makes this upgrade well worth the investment. The amazing thing is it doesn’t leak a drop when you disconnect. It’s quite the setup. Take Care 👍🏼

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  2 года назад +2

      @@charleslynch908 Hey Charles, After looking at the tractor there’s no way to leave the small mounting bracket on as the loader kickstand needs that area to stow away when it’s mounted to the tractor. I would say the way it sits right now I could take the loader off, install the small bracket and driveshaft and then install the snowblower in about two minutes. Now you have me wondering exactly how long it would take to change out.. I might time myself tomorrow and see and I’ll shoot a quick video and post it. Challenge excepted.. LOL 😂

    Just got a 2023 1025r
    I have the single point for the loader.
    If I were to buy a plow or snowblower and didn’t have the second upper angle point coupler, would you be able to just plug in one at a time and still use it?
    If you didn’t put this on the snow blower would it have Still worked just take longer to hook up?

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  6 месяцев назад

      Hey Connor, Thanks for stopping by the channel to watch the video.
      I think I understand what you’re asking. If someone had a snowblower or plow with just the 4 standard quick connect lines instead of the upper portion of a single point mounted to each attachment. You could still use a snowblower or plow, you’d just have to disconnect the 4 hose connections going to the single point single down where you would normally plug any attachment in and plug in the plow or snowblower there instead of using the single point connection. Then just throw on some color coded caps going to the single point so you wouldn’t get dirt in the connections until you were ready to hook the single point back up and use your loader
      Hopefully I answered your question correctly.

    What am I missing? Why is their two different single point attatchment bases? Did you remove the loader base and replace it with a different snowblower base?

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  2 года назад

      Hey Marvin, No.. there's not two bases. there's only one base that stays mounted to the tractor on a bracket but there is two Upper hydraulic connections. One for the loader and one for the snowblower. 👍🏼

  • @goforce32

    COST is a huge factor here. Your single point attachment is over $300 (per attachment- i.e. snow blower, backhoe, etc.). The other issue is that the "main unit" is almost $700. Very expensive set up for those of us that have already spent a lot on these tractors. Your video is VERY good, I just want others to know the cost involved. Thank you for your content.

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  2 года назад +2

      Hey Goforce,
      Thanks for stopping to watch the video and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. You are correct and enjoy the feedback, this Single point setup is somewhat pricey and definitely not cheap. That’s why I listed in the description where I purchased everything along with part#’s so people could do there own research and decide whether it is in their budget. Each individual will have to decide if the ease of use and eliminating the frustration and mess of those 4 quick couplings cause outweighs the price. For me it was a no brainer not having to swear at those couplings every time I wanted to remove the loader. This conversion was well worth the money.. I simply love everything about the tractor now. Best thing about this is now I don’t have to shut the tractor off, climb off the tractor, unhook the frustrating quick couplings and clean up the mess from them leaking all over the place after you unhook them. Win, Win for me. Take care. 👍🏼

    Clean install what’s the purpose of replacing what appears to be the same o-ring with the same one

      Hey Luis, Thanks for stopping by to check out the video. I replaced the one set of O-rings because I had ordered them with the kit, so I decided to use them because I had them. The ORF o-rings I didn’t order so I looked at the current ones and they looked fine so I reused them. If I had a issue with a leak I would have just order the ORF o-rings if any had leaked but they did not. Hope that made it less confusing. Note: To this day they still haven’t leaked. 👍🏼 Take Care

      @@luisroth7309 I install the driveshaft all the way forward through the two bearings in the frame mount then hang it on the tractor. I’ve tried the other way where I’d hang the bracket first then try to get the driveshaft through the two bearings after and I’d struggle getting the hex shaft through both the bearings. It’s much easier keeping the driveshaft in the mount and hanging them together. Then i just pull the quick hitch over to the mount and hang that on the shaft that goes across the the quick hitch. Hopefully this is what you were referring to. 👍🏼

    Do you know if the presence of a Mauser cab on the 1025r affects the install of single point connector?

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  2 года назад

      Hey Tom, Thanks for stopping by the channel. I was comparing the location of the top rear of the mounting bracket that the single point mounts to on my tractor to a photo of a tractor with a Mauser cab and it’ll be close. Without getting measurements from each tractor I couldn’t say definitively if it would fit. Using photos it looks like the bracket will come very close to the front right footwell area on the front of the cab. I was trying to determine by using the body lines on the side panel and hood to estimate where your cab would end and the bracket would meet with the cab. If it were me I think I’d try it but I dont want to give you incorrect information. If you need me to take some measurements on my tractor on exactly where the bracket is located let me know.. I think that’ll be the best bet to verify it’ll work if you really wanna pursue this. Let me know. Take Care 👍🏼
