At the end of the day, Rammstein are the clients of the director and if the client isn't happy, then they're under no obligation to use the product.
You can see a clearly different artistic approach in the video. I like the much larger role of the actors, especially the children. "That guy" is Flake. I'm a little disappointed you didn't recognize him.
