Thanks for showing the video, I bought this case after measuring everything out to fit along with a SFX PSU, but unfortuantely the ram blocks it, so I am trying to figure out a way to mount the PUS a little bit higgher, i have to make some extension bars or something, so annoying less than an inch
There is only one item you absolutely need for this. It's a Flex to ATX adapter. Just google that on Amazon. Of course, that means you will need a flex PSU. I personally reviewed the flex PSU before @ ruclips.net/video/kcJFXqTooVc/видео.html It's Apevia ITX-PFC500W.
did you use that power supply because of gpu or ram clearence? i wanna build in c6 but itx mobos are crazy expensive now, same PSUs. so i wanna use matx in this itx case with 140mm atx psu, BUT without any GPU. im gonna use amd 8500G.
@@geekdk yes, of course. i wanna use itx variant because i dont like psu location on matx variant.... but i wanna put matx and ideally 140mm atx psu in it because of pricey itx counterparts... or at least matx mbo and itx psu if possible... do you think its doable based on your build? thats why im asking the question in my first comment... i wanna build cheap and quiet net and media build. thanks.
Maybe possible. I haven't explored it since I've always used SFX PSU for over a decade. The first aspect you need to keep in mind is that you need to use basic RAM (no heatsink or low profile heatsink, like the one I used here). You may need a 90 degree angle ATX adapter to re-route the ATX cable. Your CPU heatsink will need to be very thin tower tooler with its fan on the other side. I may do a video about that config.
@@geekdk i already did write the response to you, but i can see its not here somehow..... so quick summary... i would probably go with itx case, matx mobo and sfx psu with some minor tweaking it sshould be doable. i think.
Doable, but you will want your CPU cooler to be oriented differently because there won't be much space left on the front. A mini tower cooler, like Enermax ETS-N31, should fit no problem. I have doubts about full tower coolers.
I enjoyed most this configuration, when I saw the holes in the C6 Itx I thought: It can support I bigger Cpu. Thanks for the confirmation.
Thank you for this video it really answered questions I had about this case

You are GREAT! Thank you!
Is this Apevia power supply good quality? I read online that Apevia PSUs are risky. I really want to do this, but I dont want to blow up my PC.
Could you provide links to parts in the description if possible?

What is the maximum card length for this case with an atx psu?
Around 20cm, preferably less.
@@geekdk how about the m-atx version of this case?
25cm max. 24cm to be safe.

You do know that this case has two variants, right? One is just a regular C6 (mATX). The other is this ITX version.

It is possible to use the same matx configuration but using a SFX-L PSU and GPU 240mm?
I highly doubt that will work. You may be able to use the 240mm GPU but not SFX-L.
how about using assasin IV cooler or maybe noctua NH d15? it is fit?
It should. It's going to be really tight, though. And you will need to rotate the cooler so that it will push air up vertically.
seem great, never see someone use flex pus on this case
