I just bought this guitar in Olympic White w/ tortoise shell pick guard… the V-Mod pickups cut through my soul. Some of the most ‘stratty’ sounding pickups I’ve ever heard. She’s a dynamic beast.
Just bought 5 minutes ago lol - have to pick it up tomorrow. Very excited to try her out... I primarily play prs but I needed something a little more spanky lol
Just pulled the trigger on one today. Never had a guitar this nice.... ever. Been playing over 20 years. Put 1100 from savings to checking before going to just “look” and see if something spoke to me. A used American 2 with hard shell case literally came out to 1102. It was absolutely meant to be and I’m still in denial that I own it. Haha
I bought an APII Sunburst the other day. However, I live in an apartment where playing is prohibited, so now I enjoy looking at that guitar I want to play it quickly🎸
I have a Gibson Les Paul and love the sound, ...but these series of Fender’s are sounding great!! Plus they come prepared for the bumpy road, ...Congratulations!!! 👍🏻🎸🍊
I own a Les Paul and a few Fenders. Horses for courses as they say , but I find my Strats are particularly comfortable in my old age ! and with these modern versions there isn't really any tones that you can't get out of them imo. I would love one if I had the funds. Failing anything else ,I still have my '52 reissue Tele which is a sonic Swiss army knife ! 👍
I was waiting for Michael Kiwanuka tbh. Btw just gotta say I'm mad at fender because I didn't want to spend any money and then Fender had the audacity to release their beautiful Roadworn vintera guitars. Thx ya I won't be resting any time soon.
I really like that Miami blue colour . It looks more pale in your videos ,which made me think Fender had changed the hue from how I remember the International Series , but anyway I love it and the Pro 2 Strats in general 👌

@Juju Coyote Try thinking about aftermarket modifications! Get whatever has the most of what you want, and add the missing pieces later! If I were you, I'd get a Strat and then get a new pickguard that accepts a Tele bridge pickup. The Tele's bridge pickup is astoundingly versatile and might even negate the need for a humbucker if you manage to find a solid noiseless version.
Should have had Chris Buck do the demos because he is on the roster and actually plays guitar well. Fender, never let your IT people cameo in these as guitar players .
And next The Fender Stratocaster american standard profesional 7532 with the new old shape and new old pickups vintage guitar! you´re running out of ideas!!!
You bought a Fender. It costs £1,500, has no binding, no carve, is one slab of wood, and has a bolt on neck. And you thought you were getting a good deal?
All personal opinion I guess. I think the orange tint on some of these looks too much. Also not a fan of the contour heel either. Like the traditional 4 bolt placement. I heard they were bringing these in and quickly raced out and bought one of the last series I strats. Custom shop 69 in it and its amazing.

Fender are you listening 3.6 kg and over weight for a strat is ridiculously heavy! Did you poor lead into the body to give them more of a boat anckor feel because most of the older american standards 2010-2015 used to be much lighter guitars even the professional 1 weren't as heavy!
There is nothing need to explore with a strat. They keep pushing out the same guitar. Let’s see some real inovation or changes. Try way flatter fretboards, modern neck carves. 7 strings, inlay less boards, ebony boards, rich lite fretboards, luminlay, evertunes, more extreme horn carves for better feet access, longer scale lengths .
What about keeping classic colors that made fender what it is..? Like 2 tone sunburst, white, candy red, etc??? I really don't want my guitar to look like my next door buddy's hot road car
Pretty sad. I bought the pro 1 two years ago. Now it’s obsolete. Couple of new gadgets and they can increase the price. And as far as I know still no locking tuners😡

They need to have at least one red option. Miami Blue looks nice but let’s face it, red is just a better color for a guitar.
