It's a really nice bike! I got a 300ss a week ago for commuting. The only thing I don't feel happy about is the rear mirror. Also, make sure you put it into 1st gear before you shut it down to lock the wheel. Stay safe and enjoy your ride!
Johnny you should invest in taking a motorcycle training course and learn all the basics of riding and practice slow speed maneuvering skills. I rode a bike since I was 12 years old and 4 years as a adult on a big 750cc bike and never took the course until recently as a old man at 55 plus years old and thought I knew enough but I was shocked by how much safer and wiser I am after graduating from a basic rider course. Learning to ride in a controlled environment with professional instruction and class room study will make you happier rider with fewer bruises. I really like your NK300 its a lightweight practical fun bike for anyone and want one to.
Congratulations on your new bike. I might suggest though an 200$ investment in a 2-3 day weekend of professional motorcycle training could be the best safety insurance and educational experience as you learn to enjoy the bike.
