This light is great for civilian everyday use and I think this light was priced right for what it is. After months of carrying/dropping this light, it held up well especially considering the way I treat my edc gear. This light did however take a hit with the tactical use rating. That’s because it can’t be turned into a weaponlight like a lot of flashlights can, they don’t sell any colored filters for it, and it was too bright for tactical map reading.
I was considering getting this as it used the same battery as my seeker 2 olight that I edc , I got the olight oport and like it alot more since I switched to usbc , plus I don’t have to worry about forgetting the cable or the cable portion breaking (also is slightly more efficient and takes less time to charge than the regualr cable)
Also some xtar chargers can charge proprietary olight 21700 , I opted to get the xtar pb2s since it turns my hot swap 21700 into a useful 10,000 Mah battery pack while also being able to charge them up without having to be in a flashlight
yrs ago i bought a seeker 2 pro and fricken love this light. it’s mounted right next to my back door and is used almost nightly. people knock their products intended for firearm usage but i use streamlight in those applications.
I have a coast 2300 lumen headlamp and it does the same on turbo mode. Have been wondering about those olights. Your channel is insanely under-rated. Itll explode soon. Your reviews and delivery are great.
I’ve had my Mini Perun for a few years now. I broke the clip a year ago. Decided to contact Olight about it. They sent me a new clip, at now charge. I’ve been using the Mini Baton III for a year now. I love how they are unnoticeable, clipped on my pocket.
The magnetic charger is the worst. Proprietary chargers in 2023 should be illegal. Just use type C for gods sake. 1 cable to charge EVERYTHING in your bag.
Just a heads up if you want to buy one next year (for those savers) olight does a st Patrick’s day sale and I ended up getting one new flashlight at a discount and a second one worth $40 for $6 AND a little buckle light for free.
Been using this Olight style since the H2R currently using a perune 2 great work and edc light the 90° angle is great. Perfect for service techs due to the magnetic base.

I like my perun 2 mini. Smaller, lighter and it has a red light mode.

Has almost no tactical use without red lenses capabilities. White light sticks out like a sore thumb and I can see you from miles away with NVD’s.
The mini is just as awesome. And are you positive that was moonlight 🌙 and not just low? Because moonlight on the .ini is fairly low light 🕯️
