Dajuan Wagner: The Camden Legend touted as THE NEXT ALLEN IVERSON… But his body FAILED HIM | FPP

  • He is a legend in Camden, New Jersey; he was nothing short of a phenom during his high school career with the Camden Panthers. He left the school after his 2001 senior season as the highest scoring player in New Jersey State history, and in his senior year had done the improbable, as he scored 100 points in a single game; as the best moment of a career filled with high scoring. He would be the first Blue Chip prospect for Coach John Calipari, after he took over the Memphis Tigers coaching position. And Wagner would impress in his freshman season, as he would lead the Tigers to the NIT championship and take home the MVP. He would then be drafted to the Cleveland Cavaliers where he would spend some time on a rebuilding Cavs team with guys like Ricky Davis, Darius Miles, and LeBron James. But Wagner could barely stay on the court; as along with your typical sports injuries, it was discovered quite early that he had ulcerative colitis, which would essentially end his career at the age of 22 years old. He would have a brief comeback with the Golden State Warriors in 2007, but that lasted one game, as overall he appeared in just 103 games throughout his NBA career; and even though he never fulfilled the expectations it was due to his body failing him; as Dajuan Wagner could score however he wanted and if he would have been able to polish his game and improve his basketball IQ; he could have been a perfect sidekick to LeBron James; but that just wasn’t how it panned out for the High School Great.

Dajuan Wagner would’ve been a superstar in the league, if they had developed him. He consistently delivered outstanding performances, including a remarkable 100-point game. He made a huge impact on the game.🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀

They just want to cut on you and make money wit medicines when all you really have to do is change your diet. Dajuan was hard tho, a big NBA what if because he had the talent
