The Future AI Society is a member community dedicated to adding Common Sense to Artificial Intelligence.
The Society’s open source software includes the Brain Simulator II neuron simulator and the Brain Simulator III Common Sense AI research system which is a graph-based real-world representation system. BrainSimIII can create connections on its own between different types of real-world sensory input (such as sight, sound, and touch). "Generative AI does have common sense, it just doesn't have the whole suite of it because you need certain experiences to understand certain things. I once asked ChatGPT-4o a few translation questions and it realized what I was getting at with the first sentence by itself and offered a correction. That's basic reasoning. AI can't tackle geometry if it isn't trained on 3D spaces, now with stuff like Nvidia Isaac Gym this will become a thing of the past. "
