  • In this video, I'll be sharing some of my favorite late night confessions on the beaches of Accra Ghana at night.
As a traveler, you know that there's nothing like a good beach confession to make for a good night's sleep. In this video, I'll be sharing some of my favorite late night confessions on the beaches of Accra Ghana. From crazy stories about my travels to unrequited love, you'll get a good dose of what you see and hear on the beaches of Accra Ghana at night!
This video was filmed in Labadi Beach or more properly known as La Pleasure Beach is the busiest beach on Ghana's coast. It is one of Accra's beaches and is maintained by the local hotels. Labadi Beach is in a town called La, popularly known as Labadi, near Teshie in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
Accra is the capital of Ghana, on the Atlantic coast of West Africa. Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park honors Ghana’s first president, who helped lead the country to independence. The park contains Nkrumah’s mausoleum and a museum charting his life. Makola Market is the city’s vast, colorful bazaar. Popular seafront spots Labadi Beach and Kokrobite Beach offer golden sand and high-energy nightlife.

Point of correction, Ghanaian men are not killers, the ladies are referring to a story in the newspapers about two months ago which said a guy killed her girlfriend because the girl was cheating on him after he (the guy) sponsor her in school, can this guy incident represent all Ghanaian men to be killers? These ladies are just loose talkers, same goes for my brother Wode Maya's loose talk about the KFC thing, we Ghanaians must be watchful of what we say about our country especially when we see foreigners.

First off thanks Ivan for the discussion with the 6 young ladies. For those especially in the west with the misconception that women in poor countries are cheap and not materialistic I have news for you and it has nothing to do with westernization or social media 😂. In African culture, taking care of women is not a new thing and since time immemorial, women were expected to marry up (older, more stable, etc than the woman/her family). It’s not uncommon for her family to expect land and other big ticket items not to mention the husband will also be helping her relatives financially and otherwise (connections/network). Dowry has always been another way of weeding out “undesirable” mates - one of the reasons why polygamy persists. Remember that no one culture has a monopoly on how to act when it comes to love/romance so don’t assume that women in poor countries don’t expect things from men unless or until they are westernized 😂! In my experience, western women get less from men than their counterparts in poor countries as they chip in a lot. Thanks

Go to your own country even in America and ask women the same questions you asked this ladies and see if their response won’t be the same? So please stop making it seems like Ghanaian women are bad or cheap. I hope you didn’t think that way cause if you did, that means you have an agenda towards Ghanaians.

Once you marry the one you love you do not need to run out to find two more because the that would mean that you did not love the first one. In poorer agriculture based societies maybe it is necessary to assure that all the women have a mate but the world is big enough for women to find a mate these days. Once AIDS started to spread people were more interested in promoting gay marriage to hinder the spread of the disease through the habit of multiple partners.
