hi, just curious as to why the offset? is it just for chuck clearance? Nice tool. Planning on spinning one together myself so looking at as many as I can find being fabricated. Thanks
Trabalhei com uma igual em 1969 com três laminadores, parecendo com uma luneta, acionada por cilindros pneumáticos fazendo Drill Piper na Hughes. Nao eram esferas eram roletes endurecidos e lapidados.
Roll Burnishing 101; nice job!
Great work Miętus . Now finish the tool by making the ball captive. There are several ways to do this.
I am very impressed it's a great tool never watched before. 🔥
This is great mechanics
Nice work, but the Flats on the Bolt Head definitely weren't parallel (7:50) . . .
Good job,
Where to buy the game?

I work with a programmable steady rest. Its burnishes the part when following z. I believe its the same concept
I want this one please tell me the price
Is reduced diameter?
Great! 👍
But why a ball bearing? Would a plain bearing not be more suitable due to the great forces with modest rotation speed?
Do you sell it ?
I thought you would have put a small punch mark on the opening of the ball so it would not fall out

I'd rather use a proper finishing insert
I don't have a lathe. Explain to me again why I need this tool?
