I bet that HOA would step in if you tried to put up a fence, or painted the thing you paid for some forbidden color. People who buy into them aren't the sharpest tool in the shed.

Any hardwood floors are going to start to buckle with constant moisture. I can't understand how they could have built anything when they tested for moisture after just pouring the slab. Anyone building a house would have been alarmed even as early as the foundation.

Doesn’t the land have to perk before the building permits are issued? I think it’s funny these people think the hoa is there to help them, their only interest is your dues!

Install a sump pump in the basement under the concrete. Call a plumbing business. This is just preventative measure you can take.

I feel terrible for these people.I hope they are able to get this rectified. I think hubble is to blame, just an educated guess. I am so glad I didn't buy a hubble home, and I bought several years ago. Praying for these people!! 🙏🙏

If only there was some law in the books in Idaho that stated that people can be held liable for damaging your property after they make changes to theirs...
Just saying I would look into that because that would be a thing...
come on news show us you're not absolutely freaking useless, Do some investigative reporting that would shock the world.

Why anyone would buy a Hubble or Cory Barton house is beyond me. It sucks these people have to deal with these issues, but they made the decision to buy a crappy house built by crappy builders. A little research would go a long way.
