I’m so old, I remember watching Guy Michelmore’s Dad on TV. Cliff Michelmore. And I remember him once mentioning his son who plays around with synthesisers in his room. Doesn’t time fly by? If you want another taste of him in his old job, search for ‘Guy Michelmore Blooper!’ 😂

Thank you so much for doing these videos. As just a duffer hobbyist of music composition your videos has been a great blessing and education as well as making me more aware of tools that can make my life much easier, despite not having the same level of performance talent. It's a joy to watch a true professional just kick around ideas with new toys and realize that this is how one learns and gets good.

Been using Arturia for years. Just wait every couple of years during Black Friday to upgrade your collection. Also, Arturia Spark has almost all of the vintage drum machines. Funk Box is also a cheap way to get into vintage drum machines in IOS. Use it on an iPad with a midi adapter and can clock out to actual synths.

I love the Arturia emulation of the Synclavier because it's such a complex and unusual instrument, but I also recently got UVI's Vintage Vault on a sale because it's nice to have more immediacy too, and some of these instruments haven't been covered by anyone else yet like the ARP Chroma. And Arturia could stand to study how UVI seems to direct the producers they have make their product demos. Because the kind of abstract tracks common on Arturia's product pages are all well and good; but it's more fun and exciting hearing more tightly focused cinematic and dance music oriented tracks. I'm always happy to browse the demos on a UVI product page or even just go to their playlists on soundcloud directly.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and Prince used it for his “1999” album. Oh, let’s not forget that famous Linn LN-1 electronic drum! They sell for 4K, and up, here in the states. I know it’s not the end of the world but I often feel plug-ins like these with a great many ‘sub plugins’ would benefit from having common option like presets, adsr, cut off etc in the same region where possible. I know they attempt to replicate the visual appearance of the original as well as the sound but it is a bit frustrating having to search the screen for settings.. it just kills the creative flow a little bit.. just my opinion...
